This is a beautiful hike to see the tail end of the falls. I took my bulldog and teenage daughter, altogether we did about 4 miles. There are several different trails or paths. The water is a stunning and beautiful aqua/emerald green. I would recommend wearing hiking or rain boots with traction, this is muddy and slippery. It goes up... More

Wonderful nature area and amazing views. Great anytime of the year. We visited in February and walked along the trails. Bring a camera and get some amazing shots.

Just a couple of miles away from the falls is this beautiful area which is magnificent. Find a car park, go for a walk and just enjoy the wilderness. You will not be disappointed.

As a local, this is one of my favourite places here. The trails are amazing, there is something for everyone, unless you have issues with stairs, because the stairs to the trails are numerous. There is a huge grassy/treed area with BBQ's (where you bring ur own charcoal or wood). There is a little store and bathrooms with lots of... More

If you love hiking and exploring areas away from the attractions of Niagara Falls, this is the place for you. There are quite a few stairs to climb as well as walking in a variety of terrains-proper walking shoes are highly recommended. Be prepared to see some fantastic rock formations!. The views are amazing.as you walk towards the water. We... More

IMO the best time to visit is anytime but, it's a special place in the Fall. The colors and the dramatic lighting make for some good photo ops. Wear good walking shoes, as trails can be slippery when wet with leaves. Difficult endeavor with small children.

This is a great place to hike if you want a more challenging adventure. The trails go down through preserved forests to the river's edge. The park is isolated because of the gorge so there are no major predators to worry about. Parking is free and there is a souvenir shop that is open during the summer. The trails are... More
