We saw the 80’s show on a snowy day midweek.
It was not very busy, but the show was amazing.
The actors/singers also serve the dinner before the show and then were singing and dancing for an hour straight. Super high energy, amazing voices. During the twenty minutes intermission they actually served dessert instead of resting and stayed in their character. Pretty amazing. I hope everybody tipped them well!
The second act was another hour full of fast paced singing and dancing, with some audience involvement.
All in all money well worth spent!

Excellent hotel; clean rooms, appears to be a new facility, helpful staff, great breakfast, nice pool and fitness center. Couldn't ask for anything more. My gal friends and I stayed 2 nights while visiting the area and have no complaints.

Had dinner an show with my wife at the O Canada Eh? Dinner Show on Lundy Lane in Niagara Falls, Ontario. You'll need a car, the large log cabin theatre (or so it seems) is a few miles from the Niagara Falls tourist area.

The meal and the show are intertwined, and the theatre is rich with performances of native Canadians singing the music of Canada in traditional costumes and songs. The performers also serve your food-somewhat unique. You'll feel more like you're in the Canadian Rockies. This native Canadian show is
great for couples and families and tour buses. What's best about O Canada Eh? is that is gives you a true feel for the Canadian experience-what it's like to be in Canada and be Canadian-as one might normally expect. Must must see.

This is a top attractive, great atmosphere, very Canadian,
great food, great music, great acting, great service and 'feel at home' welcome-an extremely popular local Canadian tradition.

Highly recommended. show rated 'G'. Bring the whole family.
One of Niagara Falls best kept secrets is this wonderful dinner show and the performers who make it so special. Take a taxi if you have to but GET THERE.. Get tickets in advance if possible.

I was expecting more from this place. The entertainers are talented with good acting and great singing skills, and they work to make it fun. But the material is bland and boring. I was expecting more (and better)Canadian/American jokes but it was mostly a karaoke performance of a bunch of songs that happen to be written by Canadians. It is G-rated kid friendly, but my poor 10-year old didn't
stay awake through it and was sad that she didn't have fun the whole night. Oh yeah the food is $5.99 buffet fare, and drinks aren't included in the about $50 per person price tag. We only drank a couple cokes and the total tab for the night (for 2 adults and one child) was $160 and it was NOT worth it. Kudos to the actors for their wholehearted attempt to entertain us, but the boring material and steep price made this a big waste of our time and money. Some reviewers seem to like it, so maybe it will be your thing. I don't usually go out of my way to make reviews but I felt ripped off by this place. Eh?

We saw their revue show on 12/29 and there are not enough superlatives for how *bad* this show was. I have been coming to Niagara Falls since I was a child and I have always wanted to see their show. Because of their schedule, we wound up purchasing tickets for the Cabar-Eh instead of the titular show. To say we hated it would not overstate the case.

The food was fine. Nothing remarkable but perfectly acceptable. They are willing to refill whatever you want more of but they served six slices of toast beef to a table of 8. The chicken was also sparse. The fish, honestly the best of all the offeringss, was the only thing that was plentiful. They even ran out of bread. Really.

Nobody goes for the food though. We were excited to see the show. We should have quit while we were ahead and left after dinner.

The show was positively awful. So bad. Rare is the show that leaves one praying for deafness but they did accomplish that feat. The theme of the show was "resolutions" but calling it a "theme" is completely inaccurate. It was a collection of songs the performers apparently selected, ostensibly to showcase their talents. From the look of it, their talents are primarily waiting tables.

One standout performer, Louisa, was the only performer with any charisma. She was a joy to watch. One performer, who resembled Ryan Phillipe, was nice to look at and apparently nobody wanted to tell the cute guy he can't sing or dance. There was a brunette woman whose voice was like nails on a chalkboard. After her second song, my son looked at me and started to laugh. It was so bad it was almost comical. If it hadn't been $70/pp to attend we might have seen the humor in it. At that price, however, we did not. It couldn't be worse.

Avoid at any cost. I'd have paid again for the privilege of un-watching this awful show.

I reached out to the theater company to let them know our displeasure and was told that I should appreciate that the staff "worked so hard" and produced the show in "only five days." I guess they expect to be lauded for hard work, like grade schoolers. Not at that price!

Again, avoid!! Just awful!

Thank you for your comments AGAIN Liza! We fully understand that unfortunately we did not meet your expectations! Fortunately we had hundreds of positive people see our show with great things to say! We have posted videos of our "terrible" performers on our Oh Canada Eh? Productions Facebook page for anyone to judge for themselves... Happy New Year!

Food was just ok and the entertainment reasonable. The actors tried hard but the fact that they pushed the audience participation over the top was enough to put me off.

I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to spare others the painful evening (not to mention the money out of pocket) for this show. We were visiting Niagara Falls for my 30th birthday and found this show here on Trip Advisor as something fun to do. I have been to geographically oriented shows before and have always had fun watching them poke fun at all the things that come with living in certain places. For example, I grew up in Rhode Island and the Rhode Island Follies is a hysterical show. We thought it would be fun to "experience the area" by going to a dinner show.

To be clear, this show is NOT a comedy. There was nothing funny AT ALL. I did not laugh one time. It is strictly an entire show full of really bad jokes and puns and songs that I have never heard (with the exception a few excerpts from famous songs, just so they could show the "Americans" that famous people came from Canada). We barely made it through the show without dying of boredom.

To top it off, the food was horrible. We were completely unamused by the show and had to suffer through plate after plate of mediocre food. After paying $130 for the show, we were disgusted.

Maybe this is how Canadians have fun...but just as a warning, it is NOT fun for Americans. I looked around the room and noticed it was mostly an older population and when asked where people were from, the majority of people were from Canada. So, if you are a younger person, not from Canada, SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Well, I am happy to read you did not succumb to injury by almost dying from boredom, EH?! (come on, now that was funny!) Well over 95% of our reviews are from guests LOVING our show and the proof is in the hundreds of reviews we have received! Theater, like anything else is subjective and obviously this show was not your cup of tea. I googled the Rhode Island Follies and it's Jersey Shore meets Family Guy theme is very different from what we offer here at the Oh Canada Eh? Dinner Show. If you go thru our reviews you will see more than half are from Americians and they usually get the hummor and have a great time with us. A wise person once said you can't please AL the people ALL the time and it seems we fell short on this night to your liking and that is unfortunate.

We paid $64 each for this show and considered it to be a complete waste of time and money. Our waiter was one of the principle singers so he was too busy performing and in fact never served us anything at all after promising before the show that he would look after us and anything we wanted we only had to ask. Food when it arrived was bland and lukewarm and we had to go to the kitchen ourselves to ask for tea and coffee which had been delivered to our companions on the next table at least half an hour before. Very disappointing.

Thank you for writing your review and I am sorry that you did not enjoy your experience with us. We host families and tour busses from all over the world and we are proud to see that almost 90% of our guests rate their experience very good or better and most of them rated their night here excellent! We feel that we do offer great value for money. Theatre goers pay up to $40 for similar musical shows without dinner, so I do feel we are competitive. In your case, coming in on a tour bus, the cost of transportation is also factored into your cost and we have no control of those expenses. When our servers come to the tables and introduce themselves they inform our guests that are performers as well as servers for the evening and should anyone need anything, please feel free to ask and other server and they would be happy to help with whatever is needed. All that aside the fact remains you came and spent your hard earned money on a night out with us and I thank you for that and I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your evening. Should you like to contact me, my e-mail is wayne@ohcanadaeh.com

How on earth is this attraction ranked the #3 thing to do in Niagara Falls? Piercing your eyeball with a needle would rank higher! Who are the people writing these reviews? My family and I have vowed not to ever use Trip Advisor again when planning a vacation in the future. The show was boring, not funny, WAY too long and the food was awful. I did not eat the soup so the first thing I had was the salad. In my first bite I got a two foot piece of hair. Needless to say I did not eat any more salad. I mentioned this to one of the servers and the only response I got was "thanks for letting us know". The theater itself is nice but located in an area of $39 a night motels, massage parlors and lingerie shops. My two teen sons and I could not wait to get out of there (3 hours!). Do yourself a favor and save your money on this attraction. Also, beware of what you read on Trip Advisor. We booked this event based solely on the reviews we read on Trip Advisor and we were extremely disappointed. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Hi and thanks for taking the time to review our performance. I am very sorry to hear you did not enjoy your time with us. A musical comedy is open to interpretation and obviously our brand of humor is not your cup of tea. We are proud to say our show is squeaky clean and appropriate for all ages but like any play, TV show or even movie... some people are going to love it and sometimes others might not. Our show is an average length for a dinner show and part of the price of admission is the show itself. As you can see from our reviews, the vast majority of people find us to be very entertaining and enjoy the food quite a bit and we are very happy to be ranked in the top 3 Attractions in Niagara Falls!

For our past several trips to Niagara, the Oh Canada Eh? dinner show has been on our family's to-do list. While planning our summer 2011 adventures, tickets were offered on Wagjag for just $29 per person. We eagerly snagged three (one each for my husband, myself, and our 15 year old son) and added it to our itinerary.

Booking our tickets was a painless procedure, and the genuine friendliness of the reservations agent was a good indication of what was to come. On the day of the show, we were greeted promptly upon arrival and seated immediately by one of their efficient and friendly staff.

Both husband and son were doubtful that a musical dinner theatre would live up to the hype, but good-naturedly went along for my sake (thinking it would be worth experiencing at least once). They also had concerns about the food, particularly when our son is a finicky eater at best.

Seated at a long table with another family from Pennsylvania at the front of the second tier, we had an excellent view of the stage. The theatre, set in a log cabin, set a great atmosphere for the show. Our server, Melissa, made a special trip over to introduce herself and make sure we knew to ask her for anything we might require during the evening. Melissa's enthusiasm quickly bubbled over to the guests at our table, and we were excited for the show to begin.

As for the show.....awesome. We laughed and laughed (the jokes are corny, the performers completely silly, but in such a way as to be delightfully entertaining rather than groaningly bad), we clapped, we sang along, and simply had an AMAZING time! It was next to impossible not to get caught up in the lighthearted joy of the whole performance, as the various actors (who all played a myriad of different parts with complete ease) pulled in multiple members of the audience into their show, right from their seats. My husband, who was celebrating his 40th birthday that day, was singled out by one young actress who came and sang "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" to him during the show. With the full spotlight on them both, it singled him out in the darkened room and made for one of his most memorable birthday moments! (Note: anyone celebrating a special event should mention it when booking your tickets....they have a section of the show where all birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, etc. are recognized). It was a very interactive 2.5 hours, as the characters milled about, served food, sang, danced, and interacted with everyone willing to get into the Canadian spirit of things.

The food itself was absolutely wonderful, plentiful and hot. My son (who admittedly has a very selective palate) even ate the fish and declared it delicious. Fish! I am still stunned. The beef and chicken were equally flavourful and tender, the roasted potatoes were fabulous, and I even liked the vegetables (don't tell my mother, okay?). The soup to start the meal was excellent, the salad was equally so, and the maple chocolate cake was divine. The basket of homemade bread on our table was refilled multiple times with no hesitation. We all left completely stuffed.

Coffee, tea and water are all provided. Soft drinks and alcohol are extra (and optional), but the prices are reasonable. One beer and a glass of Coke only came to $7 and change.

All in all, the two and half hours flew by and we felt we received an excellent value for our money. My two skeptics were more than pleasantly surprised by the evening's events, and have been raving to family and friends about Oh Canada Eh? since returning home from vacation. For American or International travellers looking for a fun way to experience some truly Canadian culture, this show is for you. For my fellow Canadians, you won't be able to stop that feeling of pride from surging up during their patrotic finale. A fitting way to top off an evening that exceeded our expectations in every way.
