- Blain MNiagara Falls, Canada30 contributionsMater Zoo does Niagara Falls Waterpark. We took our family of 16, with 8 of them being our grandchildren ages 5 to 11, and there parents on Friday March 24th. We stayed overnight at the Skyline Hotel and used the Waterpark Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th. We had an amazing time with the family and would highly recommend this Waterpark for a fun family outing. Our grandchildren can't stop talking about how much fun it was. Thanks for a fun time.Visited March 2023Written April 7, 2023
- Sara1 contributionVery average experience, nothing special at allLet’s be honest, this is primarily a family spot, catering to families with kids. So open up at least one of the two hot tubs for the kids! That’s how it is at Great Wolf Lodge and World Waterpark. Will not be returning!Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten August 22, 2023
- KNS5 contributionsDefinitely Worth It!Great place to go. We did the hotel and waterpark passes so had access to waterpark 1-7pm the first day and 11-3pm the second day, which is more than enough! Barely any wait for slides (we went Tues/Wed). The restaurant inside is not crazy overpriced which is nice. Bring your own towels and just leave your stuff on a chair (not worth renting lockers). Will definitely be back.Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten February 21, 2024

Grab a tube when the wave ends in the general pool. And just go! The mats were fun for the races but screaming only leads to a bit of water boarding at very unexpected times. All fun…didn’t even spend any time in the cabanas. And not much of a view. But who cares. The activity line up was energizing. And lots of attention paid to safety inside and outside the pool. I thought I would for sure get sick given the crowd the day we visited, and the fact that EVERYONE was in the water. But no. I was fine and ready to return.Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten March 9, 2024

I was excited to go to the waterpark . My wife and I would enjoy the hot tub and the kids would enjoy the slides and wave pool. But it was another what I expected. The hot tubs were old and the jets were not working .It was like sitting in a bath tub with no bubbles and had other couples just looking at each other is disbelief how we all paid money for a crappy experience. These hot tubs need to be fixed. We even asked staff to help us but it was a waste of time. My kids were enjoying the wave pool until a young kid puked in the pool and then we decided to get outta there. I don’t blame the waterpark for things that are outside their control but some things are just not acceptable and can make a paying customer very disappointed

We will definitely not be going back. Do not waste your money here. Lifeguards and staff were rude and not accommodating at all. If you plan on staying in one of the hotels, the Skyline is a dump and a hike/ nightmare to get to the water park, especially with small children. Signs/ directions to sign in, get water park passes etc. were unclear or non-existent.
Lines on the waterslides were so long, the kids lost interest. The wave pool is hardly ever turned on, and it is full of bandaids. I was told I had to dump out my drink, only to enter the water park, where everyone had drinks. Then we were told the water park closed at 7:00. If you want to be stressed out and waste your money, stay here. What an absolute waste!

We visited the waterpark with our two little ones (1.5 and 3) January 2024. Unfortunately, my 3 year old is under 4 feet tall so we were very limited on the slides that she was able to go on. She was only able to go on one, small toddler slide on the splashpad section. **Be forewarned if you have littles under 4 feet (we knew this going in so it was a non-issue for us) that you won't be able to go on ANY of the fun slides even the tube slides with an adult! As previously mentioned by others, you will have to pay for a locker, and pay for towels. We didn't pay for either as the day we went the pool was not super busy and we were able to just place our bags on one of the chairs and cover them with our towels (we brought from home). I read on here someone recommended watershoes so our whole family wore them and it was a game changer. The floor can be kinda gross in certain areas and the watershoes helped prevent slipping - 10/10 recommend wearing watershoes. The toddler splashpad area is nice and warm and my kids spent a ton of time there in addition to the bigger splashpad area. Wave pool temp was also nice and warm which was nice. We went on a sunday afternoon (330-530) and a Monday morning (10-1). Sunday was very busy and monday not as busy. If you can, I would try and avoid Saturday - it was absolutely jammed. We went and took a look since we were staying at a connecting hotel and wow it was busy. Hard to swim in the wave pool, long slide lineups, no chairs free, etc. If you have the choice I would avoid weekends or at a minimum avoid Saturday. We didn't eat anything at the waterpark but could see a basic menu was available. Change rooms and bathrooms could use a spruce up and a deep clean but nothing alarming.
Life pro-tip: If you are coming to niagara to take your kids to this park - stay at one of the interconnecting hotels - we stayed at the Sheraton Fallsview and it was amazingly convenient to go to and from the park. Also, ask the hotel lobby about buying tickets vs. buying at the park - it was way cheaper! And also, dont forget the WATERSHOES!

In general, we had a good experience in the actual waterpark, but will not be going back, for several reasons.
1. If you are staying at any of the hotels (We stayed at Sheraton), it is an absolute nightmare to check in and get to the water park. It should be more clearly labeled and explained, that when you park you have to walk through 50 different hallways to get to the hotel (with all of your bags) and then ALL the way back again to the water park (which is above the parking garage). It would have helped SO much if, in the intro email, it would have made suggestions to have 1 person go check in, and then take just a small bag to the water park. We did in fact pack just 2 bags for the water park and paid an absurd amount of money for a locker, since it said we couldn't bring bags in. Then once we got inside the water park we noticed everyone else had bags and even strollers inside. What a waste of money to have paid $30 for 2 lockers!
2. Besides the terrible organization and lack of signs, the absolute worst part of our experience is that while we were having fun in the pool we noticed that a parent had lost their child. This is a parent's absolute nightmare of course. No one did anything. No one. They didn't even clear the pool! I was so, so shocked that no one was taking action while people are running around looking for a child. I approached a manager/supervisor about this once the child was found (young man with glasses), and he completely disregarded my worries, saying they were following protocol and did "Everything they could". But they didn't clear the pool? That makes no sense! He also said the made 2 announcements, and when I said that it was impossible to hear the announcements, he continued smirking and saying "well, we made 2 announcements". The lack of respect and accountability was baffling. I asked him to take into consideration what I was saying and to take the feedback to his superiors, rather than stand there and justify the actions. At the very least, tell the IT team that the announcement system sucks.
Needless to say, we won't go back. We have been to Americana before and had a much more pleasant experience there. It is much smaller, close to your room, you can park and pull up right in front of your room, none of this poor organization stuff.
Yes the slides here are bigger and better, but for the price, terrible organization, and lack of safety measures - we will never go back.

Terrible for little! We brought our 3 year old and almost 1 year old and what a disappointment. My toddler couldn’t go on anything but the 2 little blue slides the baby area and the pool. The baby area all the flooring was coming part and my 1 year old kept eating it. Overall do not recommend for any kids under 40inches :(

Went NYE weekend and the park looks huge from the outside, but it really doesn’t use its space well. The wave pool is actually quite small, and for some reason wasn’t even running for our first day. Then it’s advertised 16 slides are really only 8 all ages slides. They counted all the tiny tots slides in that advertised number. Then they don’t have enough tubes to even closely meet the number of people they let in. Within an hour of getting to the park everyone is bored and miserable.

can 8'5" passenger van park at the waterpark parking lot?
Valerie M

I parked in a parking garage and while I knew my minivan was going to clear, it was uncomfortably close. I wouldn't take a full sized van in the parking garage. it does have a height indicator on the bar but I don't remember exactly what the height was and once you turn in there, with the street traffic behind it wouldn't be easy to back out if you had to. The hotel owns a parking lot behind the parking deck, I would go around the block and park in that lot with a larger vehicle. good luck!
Wanted to stay 5 nights at the Sheraton would I have access to the park each day? Or only the first day of our stay till 3pm the next day.

ThEy certainly did not deliver our food. They gave us a beeper. That they said would. Vibrate when the food was ready. We waited and waited for a while. Then went down for the food.

Hi everyone! Who has been in the winter? Looking to book January 2020 but we need to make sure the hours match our schedule. Ideally, they would stay open until 9pm like they do in the summer. Can someone please confirm if you've been there in January previously?

I would check their website to see what their hours are during the off season months. I went in April and they were closed on the Tuesday and Wednesday of the week I went. Or you can call them to see what their hours are during the week your visiting. Also check groupon for discounted rates for tickets. Have a great trip!
How does it compare to americana and great wolf lodge

Hi,
I found that GWL has less activities for 8 + kids and is double the price. Food options are better at Fallsview and you have a choice of hotels and you always get a free show with the Fallsview Waterpark packages. I also noticed high chlorine use at GWL but depends on when you go. I have a 5 and 12 year old so I prefer Fallsview because of the range of activities, location and because it is more budget friendly.

is there enough there for 8,10 and 13 year old kids who have been to cedar point or should we go back to cedar point water park?

I've never taken my boy to Cedar Point, but with the large slides, and body slides here I'd say they would enjoy it. Lots to do in the area as well. Great time every time we go, and we go a lot!!
