Exceeded expectations

I was nervous about how busy and crazy this place might be, but we visited on a weekday while most kids were in school and had a great time. Plenty of tubes and chairs for everyone. Staff were very friendly and the entire experience felt very safe.

ok experience
Feb. 2020
I have three kids under 12, and overall they enjoyed themselves. However the chlorine did irritate their eyes and skin, so we had to leave halfway through the day (versus Great Wolf Lodge where they were happy to spend the whole day there). The water was a bit cool at times, but I personally found it refreshing. Getting to the waterpark was a bit of a trek from Sheraton on the Falls, especially with the disabled individuals in our party, but at least we did not have to go outside.

Family Fun for 3
Feb. 2020
Before leaving my review, I just need to mention something: I was at the waterpark on Feb 18th late afternoon for a few hours. After using the washroom, I noticed an employee (tall and with a walkie talkie at the hip) briefly rinse his hands in the sink and leave the bathroom. I understand that it's not the food industry he's in, so a lack of soap is really his own personal choice of hygiene. However, afterwards, I walked out behind him and noticed him go over to the tiki towel hut, look non-chalantly over and around the waterpark as a whole, pick up a towel, wipe/dry his hands and dispense of the towel in the towel laundry bin. It's cool if those towels are intended to be used for that purpose but they're not. There's a clear sign that asks the visitors/clients of the waterpark to be mindful of towel usage and the effects it has on the environment as a whole. You would think this should apply to the employees as well. Hopefully this issue is brought to the staff as a whole and this lackadaisical behaviour is corrected.

Now, on to my review: The waterpark was pretty cool! We visited Feb 18 2018 for 1 day. (mainly the afternoon after 2 o'clock) Me, my wife and our 20 month old daughter went. My wife forgot sandals to wear around so she bought a pair...$30, I guess supply and demand rules all. We paid $12 for 1 locker and didn't account for all of our bulk winter gear we wanted to store, so we ended up needing a 2nd. After that, we changed in the family change room which was nice, we could both get our toddler dressed together and get her out to the fun. We mainly went there so our daughter could play around and just have fun. They have a small section for toddlers which was actually more than enough for our's as she stuck to some water fountain with multiple spouts and the mini slides. We tried to take her down a slightly bigger slide in the water jungle gym but she wasn't feeling that adventurous. The wave pool water was a little chili for her so she just made a game of getting her toes wet and running away. As we were leaving, I decided to give a big tube slide a go, the line was pretty long as I think the regular slides were closed for 30 minutes due to a pool fouling. Bad timing, what could I do. All in all, the place was good, clean and a nice mini escape from the wintery weather outside.

Okay waterpark
Feb. 2020 • Friends
The waterpark itself was clean, staff were friendly and there was a good variety of options. The water was very cold for an indoor waterpark and the chlorine was high, causing many kids to be coughing while swimming in the wave pool. As well even with showering after my whole family developed rashes I assume from chemicals. The lockers were easy to use and reasonably priced at $12 for the day.

The wave pool was fun and they had some tubes that could be used but there are very long gaps for when they put the waves on. The toilet bowl slide wasn’t the best, everyone kept getting stuck on the way down. Lineups for the slides were reasonable considering it was a weekend. We went Friday to Sunday but I would recommend just doing a one day pass. It was not exciting enough to have gone over three days.

Overall it was a good experience, I have just been to better water parks and would recommend it is best visited with a one day pass.

Great Wolf Lodge is right down the street
Feb. 2020
Think of the most crowded room you’ve ever been in - where you can’t turn around without bumping into someone. Now add in enough vaporized chlorine to make your eyes sting, uncomfortably cold water and unbearable levels of noise.

The good news is; if you don’t like picking up after yourself you’ll feel right at home. There are towels lying all over the place. The tables in the snack-area are covered in empty cups and soiled paper napkins. The change rooms have dirty diapers laying discarded on the benches.

It’s slightly cheaper than nearby alternatives, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Disgusting & Ventilation Issues
Feb. 2020
I went to Fallsview 10 years ago and loved it - it is now run down and disgusting - band aids everywhere!!! We were a group of 17 people and we all had the same concerns. Windows had mould - you see people walking around with "Cleaning Staff" written on them but they did not do any cleaning!!! The ventilation was horrible and all of our eyes were burning from the water. I will definitely not be going back here - for a clean indoor waterpark with good ventilation, pay the extra money and go to Great Wolf Lodge!!

MANAGER VERY DISRESPECTFUL
I felt disrespected and discriminated
Feb. 2020 • Family
I went to fallsview Indoor pool on February 16th,I spent more than $600 dollars in this place. Being my 1st time going to fallsview, I had a horrible experience. The 1st time we went in to the pools, their was no chairs available Not even 1 I waited about 20 mins and nothing. I went to complain and explain that theres no chairs and to see if may be they can take more chairs out as there were alot of people standing I got to talk to the manager and he was completely disrespectful and I felt discriminated. I went for help and instead of this gentleman finding a solution for the problem he was of no help. I asked him if he can get more chairs out and his response was "Im sorry but I can't take other people's chairs just so you can get one you can go sit on the roof section", I explained I had little kids and he did not care. That was his response how is this a family place when your being treated like that. I do not know how he got his job but he has no respect for customers and no professional ethics. On top of that my mother slip and fell to the floor in the women's bathroom because the floor was wet. I will never come back to this place.

Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to our Waterpark. We do appreciate feedback from all our guests and I do apologize again you did not enjoy your time in the park. We are sorry to hear that you and your family had issues with seating. As it was expressed to your entire family that day we are not able to ask other guests to give up their chairs, and that we had found some seating for you to use but it was not able to be in the location behind the pool for safety reasons like you wanted. We really do hope that you did end up enjoying your time in the park and hope to see you again in the near future. Kind regards, Lisa Cecckin Guest Service Manager
