- Natasha N7 contributionsFantastic Experience - Special Junk Food PairingMy friends and I did the "Special Junk Food Pairing Wine Tasting" with Donna and Jordan. It was the most amazing experience and all of the wine and food pairings were delicious. Donna and Jordan were absolutely fantastic and made the experience unforgettable - they even gave us a complimentary toast of sparkling rosé since we were there celebrating my friend's birthday. Our favourite pairing was the Riesling with the apple chips, we loved it so much that we all bought a bottle of it. We can't wait to come back, we are already planning our next trip here! Thanks again Donna and Jordan for the most amazing time!!!Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten October 4, 2023

- nicole_chelliNew Haven, Connecticut867 contributionsOur server Gabriella was wonderfulOur mistake that we thought we could buy a few glasses of wine or split a bottle, they just offer tastings of the wine due to province laws. With the $10 tastings we got to try 4 wines with 1 bonus sparking wine with it being Canadian thanksgiving. Our server Gabriella was wonderful. Very bubbly (like the wine) easy to talk to, and was enthusiastic about providing other recommendations to do in the area. In the building you can walk up the stairs to the “look out” that overlooks the vineyard and the lake in the background. They also had picnic tables outside, attached to an outdoor area with Adirondack chairs and firepits (note: those require reservations online. $40pp which include light snacks and wine tastings). Unfortunately, it was raining the day we came so we did not get to spend much time outside. We found the bottles of wine for purchase for take home to be very affordable. We found all the wines we tried to be very light and flavorful. The Peach wine that is fermented with peaches was very tasty and sweet, Gabriella suggested of making sangria out of this wine which I think is a wonderful idea.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten October 15, 2023
- Krista PStratford, Canada1,651 contributionsTry one of their seasonal flights experiences!Their fall flights experience was so much fun and we loved that the wines were paired with a locally sourced snack board. It took place in an enclosed patio with comfortable Muskoka chair seating. Highly recommend for anyone visiting NOTL!Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten October 23, 2023
- Adorne R5 contributionsWonderful! We had a wonderful time! I brought my grandmother for her birthday, and Gabriella sang to her which was the sweetest moment! Gabriella was so kind, knowledgeable, and even gave us tips for the area. The wine was anaconda, just sad I couldn't ship it back home to GA. We had the best day, thank you Gabriella!Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten October 29, 2023

She was knowledgeable about the variety of wine and the history of the vineyard. She offered to take a picture of us without us asking to capture the moment and even suggested places for us to check out and made suggestions for local places to have dinner. Prices were affordable and wine was so good!Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten November 1, 2023

We were lucky enough to have a wonderful visit with Baptiste, one of the very friendly wine consultants on staff. Baptiste was very knowledgeable and accommodating in our requests and along with his quick wit and humour made our visit most enjoyable. The winery building was very ornate and welcoming. We will definitely stop by again.Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten November 4, 2023
- Kim IWhitstable, United Kingdom24 contributionsAmazing Visit, worth every pennyMy husband and were taken by our friends, who live in Canada, to try out wine tasting at the Konzelmann Estate Winery. It was fantastic. Gabriella was our Wine Consultant, she was so knowledgeable, she knew everything about the Estate, the history and the wines themselves, she made it a very interesting and fun afternoon. Gabriella was very friendly and enjoyed her job, you could tell by the way she interacts with the customers. We had not realised that wine was made in Canada, and their Ice Wine is so amazing, expensive $40 a bottle, but worth every penny. If you ever get the chance to go and visit, I would take the opportunity, it will definately not be a waste of time. Oh yes!!, His Lordships said, Please thank Gabriella (I think she will understand) xVisited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten November 6, 2023

I was very disappointed with the wine club membership that was sold to us during the wine tour. The wine tour in itself was very good. We were told about their wine club that seemed very good. We were told that the wine that we would be receiving on a monthly basis would be of superior quality and we would also benefit from some extra perks with respect to invitations to wine tastings. To our disappointment , 5 out of the 6 bottles that we received were wines from their lower end price point. We were told that the wine we would receive with our monthly paid subscription would be of equal or greater value to the price of the membership which was not. Most of the bottles received were of 14.95 price point which is much lower that the price of the monthly membership and are far less superior to the wine we would normally purchase.
I did contact one of the coordinators and they did not apologize for the way the wine club membership was sold to us , and said that the monthly price we pay is a cost average of the wines we receive and that the tastings are also built into the price.... something we were not told of.
I hope going forward that when their wine club membership is sold, they should disclose this.

I absolutely love wine touring on my days off and almost always service and wines in Ontario wineries are fantastic. But my visit to Konzelmann on February 1, 2020, was so exceptional that I am writing my first review! I always was a big fan of their wines and yet again they did not disappoint. Special thanks go to Donna Taylor. It was very busy at the tasting bar, but she was able to provide a friendly, educational and fascinating tasting experience! Thank you very much Donna and the entire team at Konzelmann Estate Winery!!!

This was my first time at Konzelmann and my first ever wine tasting and it was fantastic! I will definitely be going back! Madison, our wine expert was super friendly and very knowledgeable on all the different types of wines we were trying and food pairings to go with them. She also did a great job explaining the history of the winery. If you are looking for a fun wine tasting experience in Niagara-on-the-Lake, I highly recommend the dome experience at Konzelmann Estate Winery.

I had our magical wedding at Konzelmann last week. Reflecting on the experience one week after, I am beyond grateful to Olivia and PJ for the extraordinarily work they have done to coordinate and execute our wedding. Looking over the videos they put additional candles and dispersed the flower petals in no time at the ceremony when we had to move the wedding indoors with only an hour notice due to incremental weather. Even in my imagination it didnt appear like this. Our friends have returned to the venue next day to purchase the wine and see the vineyard again after that beautiful wedding raving about the amazing wine. My favorite is the Vidal icewine. The food from stone inn was 11/10. The staff moved so quickly with such poise and professionalism. PJ was always one step ahead to ensure that everything went smoothly and organized a fireside pizza and dessert table in no time. Konzelmann will forever have a place in our hearts. Thank you x a million to everyone.

I had the pleasure of coming to Konzelmann for wine tasting last year where we fell in love with the majestic venue and decided to get married there. After 3 postponements due to C-19 we finally got married on September 25. It is an understatement that the staff and the director (PJ) went above and beyond as did the Stone Mill inn who provided the food. We made a last minute call to have wedding indoors due to rain and the staff set up everything and ensured everything went smoothly. even in my imagination the reception and cocktail hour didnt appear as they did in reality. PJ and the staff worked with such speed that the food was served so quickly and accommodated 2 of our friends with allergies. The food was beyond spectacular. The wine at Konzelmann is exception, i especially recommend the riseling icewine, vidal icewine, cabarnet rose, sparking riseling and the peace wine.
the venue has such charm and elegance and rustic and cozy feeling. I cannot wait to go again for our NOTL getaways for wine tasting. The venue has a beautiful gazebo at lakefront and an observatory and is only winery located on lakefront.
thank you x a million

My husband and I were the only one on our tour on a Sunday @11am. Our excitement level was definitely not met with any enthusiasm from our guide Jennifer, which did put a damper on things. She was extremely knowledgable, however seemed to be going through the motions and it was very clear that she was not thrilled we were asking questions. Unfortunate as it could have been a very fun tour with someone with personality or even a smile. Gus in the shop was lots of fun to deal with and it was due to him that we bought the sparkling Rose.

It was my first time visiting a winery along with my friends, I believe we went on Saturday November 14, 2020 at roughly 4:00PM EST or so. The price was fair at $40 per person and we were able to try ~4 wines along with some pairings of cheese and crackers. Everything was delicious from the sparking, red, white, and ice wins. Lauren was phenomenal as she was very insightful/educational about everything! I certainly felt safe going given that a global pandemic is currently happening. I would certainly recommend this winery!

A party of four people we went to The Dome experience at Konzelmann’s estate winery! Alex our host was very knowledgeable about the winery and its history! It was such a beautiful story and experience. We had tastings of six different wines which were all wonderful. Included with this wine tasting and story about the vineyard was a beautiful charcuterie board! Today the temperature was 25 degrees and we were a little concerned about being too hot in The Dome, however there was excellent ventilation and a soft breeze blowing off the lake. It was such a private experience as well as nobody could look in to see us. I would definitely recommend this experience to anybody who loves wine. Thank you Alex for being such an awesome and gracious host!

Even on a cold, wet, windy day in late April, the Konzelmann Estates Winery Vineyard Dome Experience was a great adventure. Despite the weather, the dome provided a sheltered and relaxed way to enjoy the vineyard and the wines that are produced there. Think of it as 'glamping' with wine and charcuterie for lunch. Alex was a welcoming host who provided us with a history of the Konzelmann Family, and the vineyard, as well as tasting notes about the wines that we were sampling. We were also left to privately enjoy the food, wine, and the view of Lake Ontario beyond the fields of grapevines. Our visit ended with a visit to the store where we were able to purchase some bottles of the excellent wine that we had tasted.

I took my best friend here on her first wine tasting trip, and we both loved every single wine poured! Lauren served us and gave us tips on which wines to pick, based on what we told her we enjoy, and every single one was perfect. Service from Lauren was also amazing, she is very knowledgable and really fun to chat with. Thanks for making our day so wonderful! Highly recommend visiting here

sorry, I do not know - I have not asked. However, given that the wine tasting bar is indoors and can be quite congested, I would not think they would be allowed.

Do they do tastings without a tour?
Written July 26, 2019
Hello, yes they do. You have to pay for them though. I think they run $2-$4 depending on the tasting. Hope that helps

Does this Winery welcome kids? If so, to what extent (i.e can we have a glass of wine outside and walk public areas with the kids, are they allowed in tasting rooms and retail areas etc?)
Written August 8, 2018
To the best of my knowledge, Konzelmann do ant serve food (except maybe cheese and / or chocolate as part of their specialty tastings.
Across the road (almost) at Strewn winery there is a great mid-priced restaurant called Oliv which is well worth a visit.

We are a group of 4 looking for a tour and tasting or just a tasting on Tuesday, June 27 in the afternoon. Is something available?
Written May 24, 2017
yep and walk in for tastings. best to pre-arrange a tour as space can be limited.
Written November 23, 2016
Our tour was about 60 minutes because we arrived a little late. We had visited two wineries prior to Konzelman. We were a large group on a bus and John Robert our tour guide stretched it a bit. They were preparing for another event (setting up tables and place settings) but we were shown to an area inside where we could socialize and hear the information. We were ushered out the back to our bus.

We are going to be staying at the Prince of Wales hotel. Is it possible to bicycle to your place
Written August 6, 2016
That's a little too far on a bike. Prince of Wales is in the heart of Niagara on the Lake and Konzelman is almost at the locks. There are other wineries you can cycle to from there however!
