My wife and I recently played the 9 hole course. The course is flat so able to walk with a pull cart. The staff is very friendly and the course was in good shape. Located right along side of Lake Ontario, it was a great day for a walk. We enjoyed our round and if in the area stop in and play. Definitely need a tee time.

Our party of 5 ate dinner here after getting a recommendation from a local shop keeper. We were satisfied in all aspects. Good menu item choices and a relaxed setting overlooking Lake Ontario. An outside dining patio area is an option which is directly on the lakeshore. Above 'par' service (no pun intended!)

If you have a couple of hours to spare and you're a golfer, playing this exquisite 9 hole course is a must. It's right in the middle of town and claims to be the oldest golf course in Canada. Just because it's a 9 hole course, don't think it's easy. The magnificent old trees crown nearly every fairway and the hole are relatively long for par 4's and 3's. The views around the course and out to the lake are magnificent and the regular members could convince you that you've stepped back in time.

There's also a nice restaurant that serves good, simple food at reasonable prices. Clubs can be rented too.

Had breakfast here - it was very good and not expensive as many restaurants are in the area. Recommend an omelette, the home fries are nice and crispy Had a view of the first hole so there was entertainment as well. Very busy golf course with views of the lake. The golf is a little pricey.

Have wanted to play this historical course for several years, but never made the time. Finally booked time for nine holes (lots of member events going on, including a couples event every Friday pm, so schedule well), and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It's not too long, every fairway is lined with trees that do not impede play, the Niagara River & Lake Ontario border the course on one side and town streets border on the other side.
You can enjoy yourselves here. No need for booming drives to reach the 4s and 5s, but there is a need for accuracy to avoid OBs and the stout trees. Play it for fun, then enjoy a beverage & lunch in the pleasant clubhouse.
Would make time and enjoy playing the course on our next trip to NOTL.

Very friendly staff and a course that you could easily walk. We didn't realize it was only 9 holes until after we started out, but no big deal. They were very busy and we played along quite quickly.

The grounds crew were working on the water lines, so a little maintenance going on, but nothing to get upset about. I am sure this place is packed in the busy season. Greens large and very well maintained. The course runs right along Lake Ontario. Clubhouse nice and clean and we only wish could have had a meal here. Maybe next time.

Qualification, we asked for and were seated on the patio... hoping to have a beautiful view of the lake. What we got was overgrown vegetation and a not quite so good of view. Service was only mediocre. Food, eh, grill stuff.

This historic course is one that you should play. It is a lovely 9 hole course. Even if you are not a golfer, you must eat on the patio, overlooking the Niagara River. The food is fantastic !!

The course is in great shape, well laid out with an old fort in the middle of it. Everyone is friendly. The food in the restaurant is wonderful and with the views of the mouth of the Niagara river and U.S. side it is breathtaking. A little piece of history!
