We stopped in at Wayne Gretzky Estates for wine tasting but ended up doing Whisky tastings instead. The facilities were huge and luxurious and we enjoyed a quick tour and the tastings. Our 2 favourites were the Maple Cask Whisky and the Salted Caramel Cream Liquor, yummy! We will be back next time we’re in Niagara region.

We always love visiting Gretzky Estates, we were shopping for Whiskey for my partner this time. The guy in the Whiskey section was not very helpful and gave my partner the smallest sip of Whiskey and only let him choose one. Luckily the staff at the bar in the main tasting room was more ample, helpful and we ended up purchasing a few items.

I always enjoy visiting Wayne Gretzky Estate because of its large size and various options of what you can do, for Eg, you can wine taste at the tasting bar, in the seated area by the fireplace, or a private room with a view of the skating rink. Tours are also available. You can skate in the winter, sit and eat at the outdoor patio that serves food in the summer, visit the whiskey tasting room and shop for many items or wines/spirits. The wines are very good and reasonably priced. Absolutely worth stopping in!

Our tour guide Cal was great! He had a great personality, he was super knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He made us feel very welcome and we couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you Cal, and don’t forget to stretch:)

My boyfriend and I always stop in to the Gretzky winery on our visits to NotL. The tasting room is lovely, the charcuterie boards are amazing and we have always had a knowledgeable server. On this trip, Michelle was amazing and talked us through all the wines beautifully! Well done!

Tour guide Ken was fun, shared interesting tidbits and was the right amount of casual. The tastings gave us the opportunity to try new spirits. Enjoyed some cool and unique items at the retail store.

Stopped by on our way from Toronto to Niagara on the Lake, so glad we did! Didn’t feel like doing a full tasting so we enjoyed a glass of wine and poutine on the patio area. Great service, and everything was delicious. Be sure to stop by!

We booked a winery tour and ended up being the only two so Ken gave us a fabulous private tour. The tasting focus was more about the whiskey than the wine-we’d have been more interested in tasting more of the reds but the one we had was very nice, and the tour was really interesting. We didn’t eat there but the outdoor patio was open and all the food we saw come out looked delicious. It’s a beautiful place and well worth the stop!

Our second time there, the first was in 2021. The wine tasting was a little rushed, but the server was nice and the wines were O.K. The property is modern and beautiful. Our server told us the pond turns into an ice skating rink in the winter, a good reason to come back later this year.

I loved our wine tour at Gretzky. It was informative and fun and a nice day to spend the afternoon. Our tour guide Josh was amazing and funny and very knowledgeable about the estate and the product. We were disappointed in not getting into the restaurant I think more should be done in managing large tables when you can't make a reservations. We waited 45 minutes only to be told it would be another hour and no where to buy a drink as we wait which was very unfortunate. It is what it is but I think maybe some tweaking in accommodating wait times and drink availability should be looked at. It is what it is though as staff was so lovely to deal with and apologetic which is not on them by any means. I would definitely go back and recommend to anyone. The whole estate is amazing.
