As father of the Bride, and part of an event planning company, I chose to be involved in every aspect of this my daughter's wedding. We viewed and inquired into many properties all around the Niagara Peninsula even hired an event venue consultant. Having lived here all my life, I know many of the pitfalls and tourist trappings that one can... More

A group of us stopped in for sandwiches on July 31 while cycling in the area. After eating most of our food, I happened to notice there were maggots in my daughter's roast beef sandwich. A lot of maggots. She had taken the top of the bun off of the sandwich and that's how I noticed them. We were horrified... More

Excellent venue for country estate setting for celebrating a wedding day of a dear friend's daughter. Contrast to hotel rooms and banquet balls, a wedding in an orchard provides a spacious setting for guest parking right next to the ceremony, after which guests and the newly weds can miggle during cocktail reception followed by dining sitting under fruit bearing cherry... I discovered Kurtz Orchards while we walked down the street. Their food makes perfect gifts! I found delicious treats for a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law who enjoys vegan and spicy. I made her a gift basket and that was such a hit I went back and made a second one for my boss. Large variety of jarred foods and... More

Sampled a dozen things and bought half of them, plus a few more that sounded too good to pass up. Sauces, dips, jams, marinades, dressings galore.

My husband and I stopped to grab a quick bite before our jet boat tour. The place looks so cute but inside seems so empty. It has a very small menu that is not very descriptive and a young staff that don't seemed very well trained. We ordered a bbq sandwich to share because the cashier was not sure if... More

Very good store. Fun to browse and look at all their interesting jams (like ice wine jam and they even have different types of peanut butter too). Lots of free samples to try, which definitely make you realize how great the jams are and encourage you to buy some. Very friendly and cute.

Your taste buds will thank you for visiting Kurtz Orchards. This is an amazing place to visit. You are allowed to taste almost every kind of jams and other treats in the place. The workers are very nice and they make sure there is plenty of cut bread for you to eat with the different jams and other things you... More
