About
Peller Estates has been crafting quality wines for Canadians for over 50 years. Whether poured around the dinner table at home, or enjoyed during an immersive wine and culinary experience at our award-winning Niagara-on-the-Lake winey, there is no greater honour than when our wines are shared with family and friends. Peller Estates' full range of Private Reserve whites, reds and sweet wines by Winemaker Katie Dickieson are always rich and approachable, while the Signature Series features age-worthy reds, award-winning Icewines and the unique Ice Cuvee sparkling wines, sweetened with a touch of Icewine. Experience wine country at the ultimate wine and food lover’s playground with tours and seminars throughout the day, including Niagara’s only igloo-like lounge where you’ll taste Icewine at -10C. Partake in a barrel cellar dinner, fine dining in the Winery Restaurant with Executive Chef Jason Parsons, or casual patio dining at Terrace Wine Bar. We look forward to welcoming you!

The ambience for the tasting could be way better and cleaner, but the service was really good. We were with 2 kids and they gave them a tasting of sparkling juice! It was really great to have the kids "enjoying the tasting" with us!

Highly recommend the Winter Luxe Lounge experience during the colder months - light lunch/charcutarie was provided with house-made marshmallows that you could roast over a fire pit! And of course, they offered wine and other beverages. There was a group of 5 of us for a bachelorette party and the bride said it was her favorite part of the day! Staff were also very accommodating.
Our bachelorette party of 5 had a great experience with the Greatest Winery tour. Our guide Paul G. was very knowledgeable, funny, friendly, and accommodating of guests needs. We were very lucky to have him as our guide! We got to sample wines, learn about the process of wine making, tour the grounds, and the coolest part (no pun intended) was the ice wine room!

We did the greatest winery tour and it was really good. Got to sample good wines, learn about the art of making wines and how to taste wine, and see a really cool ice wine room.

We had the best wine tasting at Peller. All the staff was so friendly from the minute we walked through the front doors. We did our tasting in the Cellar room. The admosphere was very inviting with the twinkle lights and cafe style tables. Ricky was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Upstairs in the boutique David helped us find our fav wine. (He even found one chilled for us to enjoy that evening).

Wine tastings in Niagara-on-the-Lake 2022, perfect, perfect, perfect trip to take at this time of year when its cold outside and warm inside. Peller estate was just a delight. Wine tastings which included Icewine was the best, The host, the best, full of great tips and she had a great knowledge of the products and how to pair them with your food and pallet. Book a trip today and you for sure enjoy it.

My girlfriend and I went to our first wine tasting at Pellar Estate and it was a great experience. Cory was really funny and informative throughout the tour of the facilities. Lots of interesting little tid-bits of history about the Pellar family as well as the growing conditions in the Niagara area.
Highlight of the tour was definitely the icewine cellar at the end of the tour. Absolutely delicious, you’ll probably be leaving with a bottle!

Attended as part of our tour and got to access the ice room, cellar and entire winery! Great tasting, host the only downside was the lunch. The restaurant service, food quality and prices were not worth it! Grab lunch elsewhere, but enjoy the winery!

Stopped in for a couple glasses of wine on a tour of the Niagara Wine region and this was our favorite. The wine was excellent, but the courtyard and outside seating was what made it. Very relaxed setting, friendly service and ample seating. Would go back!!

Can you just taste the wines and eat ?

You can taste the wines at the bar, but I don’t remember them having food at the bar. And it’s only standing so no relaxing, but they have a great outside lounge/bar area where you can probably do both.

Is the only way to visit the ice bar through a tour?

I believe so. But you would want to call and confirm. Ps. Based on my experience, you will not have an enjoyable tour if you book it during the same date as an event. They seem to be very disorganized during these times and you will need to reuse the same glass for each wine tasting and you will miss out on key views and locations for wine tasting. I was very disappointed this past weekend as they were having the party in the vineyard during my tour and we only got five minutes in the ice lounge

You should do a reservation I guess.. because there is an specific number of people on the tour. I don’t remember how much it was, but I’m sure that was more than $ 30. Probably something near $50.

My grandfather was a Peller who lived in Pittsburgh & Detroit. He was from Galicia, Austria-Hungary. I suspect we are related. Are there any family members still alive who I might talk to?

I would like to know the Greatest winery tour, should I have to book on-line previously? Or could I join the tour and pay the price(CAD$30) when I arrive? Thank you.

Hi Catter, you are more than welcome to walk in and pay the tour fee once you arrive to the estate, but we cannot guarantee that spots will be available for the desired time slot. If you book in advance online or via phone and pre-pay, your spot will be reserved.
How do we reach Peller Estate Winery at the Niagara on the Lake? Is there a public transport available to reach this place??

There are private tour buses. I would call Peller Estates to find other options. Thanks
