We finally made it to the winery for tastings! We've been to 'Oliv' for dinner and snacks many time, but we always miss visiting Strewn. OK, I'll come clean - we're always too late to visit. What a delightful visit - Fabian was our tasting guru for the afternoon. Great wines, food pairings and ambiance. We'll definitely return and will probably join their wine club. See you soon!

Over the top customer service! Sherri was knowledgeable, funny and accommodating! We met the owner, she treated us like VIPs. Cannot say enough about the customer service, and I haven’t even gotten to the extraordinary wines… Look forward to our return trip in June or July😀

Strewn was recommended by friends and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this winery! We made a stop while spending a few nights at Niagara on the Lake. During our visit, we were fortunate enough to have Juan to guide us with our tasting-he is a true gem and went above and beyond! Knowledgable, friendly and professional, he took the time to answer all of our questions and shared lots of information about their wines. This will definitely be an added stop on our future visits!

Always a great place to do a wine tasting. It is important to remember that even the "same" wine will change depending on the vintage so we did try some old favourites as well as products that were new to us. I do note that since the pandemic the cost of wine tastings has gone up and they generally do not deduct the cast from wine purchases but that seems only fair and is pretty well universal now.

We had wine tastings at four different wineries during our recent visit to Niagara on the Lake. We were able to enjoy a tasting, even though we had not made a reservation ahead of time. Our host Juan was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the majority of the wines that we sampled. We purchased two bottles of sparkling wine, one bottle of red and four bottles of white wine. The red was priced higher than we typically spend on wine at $65, but we plan to save it for a special occasion.

We had a personalized tasting with Juan that was excellent. He knows so much about wine and we learned a lot about wine and food pairings. Our friends who don’t have extensive knowledge about wines loved their visit. Strewn is our favorite winery for Juan and it’s wines expertly crafted by their wine maker Marc Bradshaw.

I gave a 4* rating because of our restaurant experience. We had wanted to taste at Strewn for some time as we like some of their wines but this was our first opportunity. We had booked lunch at the restaurant which was very good. Staff were busy but we felt well looked after and enjoyed our meals. We paid for our tasting ( twice what I’ve paid inn the past but it was refunded with purchase) and were surprised to find that it was a non refundable charge, despite purchasing several bottles of wine. The tasting experience with Sherri-Lynn was disorganized and I felt lacked background knowledge. Every wine was “one of their best selling wines”but with little else to distinguish the particular varietal. She kept track of our comments and when we went to shop for wine we were reminded of the comments that we made so as to encourage us to purchase. We did purchase at least 6 bottles of wine, 2 of which were the American Oak Chardonnay. Sherri-Lynn insisted on packing up the bottles for us. When we returned home we discovered that she had packed the Canadian Oaked Chard…. Emails to both Customer Service and to the Admin resulted in no response. Not impressed. By the way: We tasted at Tawse and 13th St the following day for no charge at all. Highly recommend both for both the wine and the tasting experience.
