- Scenic169150746086 contributionsNiagara on the Lake "Gem"I have been here in the summer months when the Brush Fire BQ is happening with live entertainment to compliment tex mex BBQ menu surrounded by local vineyards. As season changes gourmet pizza are on the menu. Absolutely fabulous!! When owners take their Chefs to New York to connect with some of the top restaurants you know they go above and beyond to put out a premium product catering to the "foodie" officinado's !!! Highly recommend for a fun time with a variety of craft beers to compliment your experience.Visited December 2023Travelled with friendsWritten December 27, 2023

- good_antsDoha, Qatar660 contributionsGood beers, plus excellent service from "Rachel"Six of us had pedaled to 'Oast House' on a bike tour while in Niagara on the Lake. We handed over our drink ticket to Rachel at the bar, and she took over with kindness and professionalism! One of their taps wasn't pouring properly, but she worked it to get us the taste we really wanted. Because of the wait she compensated by offering a few other tastes, and she did this amidst a busy run, and without any requests or grumbling from us. Exactly what you want to see from the service industry...but too often these days, just the opposite. Thanks 'Oast crew'!Visited June 2024Travelled with friendsWritten July 3, 2024
- Mark GCatonsville, Maryland3,461 contributionsNice Orange HefeweizenWe had been introduced to Oast's Orange Hefeweizen at the Old Angel Inn and decided to visit the brewery just a few miles away. We found a small crowd at the back patio bar and took seats and were waited on by a personable employee named Dillion that gave us a few samples of their a little too fruity Strawberry Rhubarb Ale and a good brown ale. But eventually we got back to their excellent Orange Hefeweizen. Unfortunately, they had no food on Wednesday's, but we left there thinking Oast's certainly deserves a 2nd visit the next time we are in town. They have a nice seating area and an area to pick up beer to go as well as a BBQ food truck available a few nights a week. They also have a TV on the back wall of the outside bar.Visited August 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten August 21, 2024

I'll give this place a 3 for the atmosphere, but that's about it. Granted the beer is good and it's probably pure since they make it, I think at $10 a pint for ANY of their beers is overpriced. Also only ales and sours, not a great choice of beers. Dinner for 4 at $115, for a self-serve, they don't come to the table to serve you, with the pulled pot getting cold after 5 minutes, not worth almost $30 a pop including tax and tips. I don't know. It seems overpriced and no value, as if they're a higher end restaurant, when they're not. You're also sitting on camping benches in the yard. The feeling is good, like I said, atmosphere, but it's a very expensive atmosphere. If they lowered their prices a bit, they'd be packed nonstop.

I’ve sampled some of this companies beer before. But it was amazing to visit the home base. The beer selection is delicious and their new pizza oven spits out amazing pizzas. The attention to detail from the beer to the dough of the pizza sets this place apart from other Breweries!

Few picnic tables right off main road. Some fruit/berry beers, IPAs and sours with a BBQ side food truck like area. Everything was ok and pricey for what you got. $10/beer, $32 for 4 small tacos that were stale and the pulled pork was just ok.

Up there with some of the best pizza I ever had. The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and felt like they loved their job. Dog friendly. A smoother surface from the carpark to the ramp would be nice for a wheelchair user but it still wouldn't take from the five stars I am giving. Keep up the good work guys 🙌🏻

Outstanding place to meet with friends on the patio or pull up and order ‘take out’ (beer on tap from the window) Always relevant, always unique and always seasonal offerings (Awesome cherry Berliner and Strawberry Rhubarb beer! peach is great as well as fall beers) plus some of the old favs (Barn Raiser)…highly recommend this locally owned and family owned business! Bravo!

So me friends live the beer, I don’t drink beer and the only option was water or a $6 can of pop. They need to rethink their non alcoholic options as some guests that come in parties may be the designated driver. Also sitting in the blazing sun was not enjoyable at all. We only go because one of our friends likes the beer.

Altho we can truthfully say the server was very pleasant, our idea of a "beer tasting" turned into her offer of "what beer would you like to try?" and the 3 beer drinkers each received a whole pint of 1 kind of beer! - this is not our idea of a beer tasting. The driver could only drink a few sips of a very potent beer, and leave the rest behind.
On the positive side, the patio was lovely, top deck had a great view of the vineyards.
Was there a communication issue or does this business not have "tastings"? A "flight of 3 or 4 beers" would be better.

We were visiting the week after the peach festival and Oast still had a peach hefewiezen advertised on their sign. After driving by several times we finally stopped. Even though it was not late, they appeared to be starting to close and weren't thrilled with "latecomers." The peach beer was disappointing, but my husband's IPA was good. We didn't really feel welcome here so we drank kind of quickly and left.

Is this just a pub or is there a tour?

From their website....
...., public tours run every Saturday and Sunday at 11:30am and 3:30pm, email to book your tour.
Sorry, but Trip Advisor did not allow me to add the email address for you to book. You will need to look at the Oast website for that.
Hope that helps you.
