This is a Royal George Theatre.

It was really good. The chairs were comfortable as well.

I liked the red doors to enter.

They have pillars.

A must see!

The acting and stage props were great except for Scroges's table being supppoted by and women holding it above her head while seated. We felt tired for her but realize that was likley the point. The staff are great and hte place is so charming

We saw A Christmas Carol and really liked the cozy atmosphere. The theatre is small and nice. There is a lobby downstairs with a bar. The show was really well done and they did a good job engaging the audience as well. We had free parking on the street as well as it was December.

What an amazing performance which everyone should see. The interaction with the audience brought a new twist to a classic production. The set design was inventive. Overall the experience is not to be missed.

We went to NOTL to shop, see a play and have dinner. We love the town, the shops, the food and the atmophere. We were looking forward to the play, we love the movie. The play was done well enough, but if you are expecting a live rendition of the classic story, then this may mot be for you.

This theatre is an icon on the NOL’s Main Street.
Perfectly reminiscent of old theatres. Especially, when seeing, a story of historical relevance, as “A Christmas Carol,” which was superb and surpassed expectations of the classic in this venue. Perfectly paired. Always pleased to see any production at this theatre.

We saw A Christmas Carol on November 30. The play as excellent as always. The only downside was the cast came out before the play and walked up and down the aisle chatting to the audience. I found it "forced", and did not add anything to the production. It tends to break the illusion normally created by a play.

We obtained tickets to see a performance of Rope during the Shaw Festival not really knowing what to expect having never been to Niagara-on-the-Lake before. It turned out to be an excellent experience. The theater itself was very nice with good viewing from virtually everywhere (we were in the balcony). The performance was terrific with high quality acting and professional presentation (lighting etc.). There are many restaurants and shops in the immediate area and metered parking on the street. We spent some time exploring the area and eating dinner before the show, and it made for a lovely evening.
