We have moved to Hunter Farms in NOTL. Our hours are 11-5 pm Wednesday-Monday, Saturday 11-6 and closed Tuesdays. Reservations recommended, especially for groups larger than 4 people. We don't accept large groups or tour buses during regular business hours.

    We always make an effort to stop and visit when we’re in the area. Their raw wine selection is amazing. We often order online and delivery to our home is very speedy and efficient. Recommend starting with a promo pack to get a variety of their wines.

    A wine tasting that turns into an unforgettable experience
    Fantastic wine tasting. Brad our host was amazing and so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his wine. We were visiting from the UK, with our sons from st John's Newfoundland, Hamilton Ontario and new York celbrating the first family get together since 2019, birth of our first grandchild. Not a simple wine tasting but an experience we will never forget. The raw wines are some of the finest we have ever tasted. Thank you so much @bigheadwines for creating a really awesome experience

    Big Head and Big Taste!
    We had a great tasting experience with Brad. He was very knowledgeable and explained their winemaking process fully. It was the first wine operation that I've been to that used concrete barrels, interesting. Highly recommend the wines, we bought a case.

    Smaller wineries have great wine too!
    Great wine tasting. Two levels of tastings. One more expensive than the other. More expensive one had more wines to taste and you could sit at a table. Less expensive tasting you stood at the bar. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Very cold inside so they provided blankets while tasting lol. Bought some wine there. Recommended.

    Our group absolutely LOVED our wine tasting at Big Head. It was unanimously everyone in the group's favourite stop over the weekend out of the 12 wineries we visited. Our wine expert, Oksana, was so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We really appreciated her tips and approach to the tasting. I would recommend visiting here without hesitation. Will definitely be ordering from Big Head once the supply I picked up runs out!

A must-do! Very interesting wines

Our group absolutely LOVED our wine tasting at Big Head. It was unanimously everyone in the group's favourite stop over the weekend out of the 12 wineries we visited.

Our wine expert, Oksana, was so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We really appreciated her tips and approach to the tasting.

I would recommend visiting here without hesitation. Will definitely be ordering from Big Head once the supply I picked up runs out!

This is the second time i’ve tried to do a tasting at Big Head as a walk-in. i used to work at a winery so i completely understood when they told me the first time that they were at capacity. Despite this, they were still quite rude and barely said goodbye.

This second visit ensured that i’ll never return. We were greeted with a scowling man behind the bar, whom we later discovered was the winemaker! He did our tasting and I suppose since he’s not trained in customer service he didn’t have any interest in treating us like guests. The pours came fast and furious, no description, but rather sarcastic answers to our informed questions (being in the industry).

Awesome tasting

We had a great wine tasting with Oxana. She was fun and very knowledgeable. We made a reservation so to make sure we were able to taste, I highly recommend that you do. We tasted on a Sunday so it wasn't too busy.

Big head has just that, a big head. We liked this winery pre- Covid. They have since moved. It’s a cattle call. 10 seats open at the tasting bar, forced us to pay ahead, moved us to a wine tasting table, poured the wine & left. Zero person touch. They couldn’t care less that you visited their winery. So many cool wineries in this area that appreciate your business - go there & skip Big Head. I bought wine everywhere except here bc I felt that they just didn’t care about their guests.
