My husband and I took a carriage ride through The Old Town in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The carriage was driven by Tom, who provided a very interesting ride and offered some fascinating history about the town. The carriage was drawn by Tom, a handsome Shire, who, according to our driver, weighs 1800 pounds and can easily pull three times his weight! It was evident that there was a strong bond between the two Toms—so wonderful to see. If you are planning a trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake, we would highly recommend a carriage ride with Sentineal Carriages.…

My husband and I decided to do this to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary! Tom was a great historian and Cara was very friendly and helpful! Tom the horse is 15 years old and beautiful. Tom and Tom seem to get along well together and I can see he cares about his horse! I would suggest taking this tour earlier in the evening before it gets too dark so you can see the sites better, but it was still a romantic ride. It was quiet and great to learn the history of the town! You can purchase a blanket from them for $20 and it was quite warm! Would recommend!…

My wife and I did a one hour tour on Valentine's day! It was a very cold day but we enjoyed the ride. Our driver had a couple of heavy blankets which were very helpful. She was very informative and told us a lot of history about the area and the History of Niagra on the Lake.

We stayed overnight at the Shaw Club and took a lovely carriage ride, through town and for a great lesson on the town history and fun facts. It was feather chilly out, so we were thankful for the warm blankets. Our tour guide was very engaging and our driver was very skilled. Jet was the name of our horse, a nice black horse with white down his nose and very gentle. It was about $95 with taxes all in for 30 mins, and we got on in the Prince of Whales Inn area, and they offered to drop us at the Shaw Club as we had some parcels from shopping in town. Payment was easy, we paid by credit card and is was secure and quick and we’re happy to leave a nice tip as the tour guide and driver were so fantastic. It was a romantic outing for my husband and I to do, and a pleasurable experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone.…

We came here in December and booked a horse carriage for around noon to see the town. Everything was ready when we arrived and they had blankets for us in case we got too cold. We got really lucky with the weather as it was warm and sunny that day but with a bit of snow on the ground. Our tour guide was really nice and knowledgeable. She told us a lot about the town that we didn't know. All in all it was very relaxing and I highly recommend it.…
