Easy to access from multiple parking lots or side streets. Lots of kms of trails to hike, some with very steep hills. Lots of shady trails too. Also excellent for runners for hill training!

A great place to bring your family for a picnic Tables and bbqs are available if you book in advance. There is a cost involved. Walk along the creek and enjoy nature. A great place for a family reunion.

Under the Busy Highway 5 is tucked away a little piece of Paradise . Take a picnic blanket and sit and watch the 16 mile creek tripping and trotting down to lake ontario.

I've seen tons of people fish on numerous occasions. I am not sure what type of fish or if they were successful! They usually go and stand right in the water or from the side on land.

You only need a permit if you want to use/separate the shelter for a picnic (There are two). You can use the rest of the area freely.
