I know the 2 owners who have saved small town movie theater. It’s a great place to catch movies without paying the huge fees of the big chain theatres. The seats have tons of leg room for those of us who are not 5’7”.
Go there get some popcorn and a pop at reasonable prices and enjoy a movie.

Film.Ca Cinemas (Film.Ca) is an independent movie theatre nestled in the heart of Oakville. Locally owned and operated, the five-screen cinema shows new movies, art films, and cult classics. Fun Fact: Film.ca happily accepts Cineplex gift cards. Awesome! General admission is $9 for adults and $7 for both seniors and students. Tuesday night tickets are slightly cheaper at $6 for everyone. Look for Film.Ca at 171 Speers Road. Note that its seating is not tiered and its sound system is not as sophisticated as many of the larger, name brand theatres. In addition, none of the Film.Ca seats respond to the film with motion and Film.Ca is unable to screen any 3D films (may or may not be a problem for you depending on the movie you are hoping to see). On the positive side, however, crowds at Film.Ca are virtually non-existent making it easy to find a seat, and you also do not have to sit through 20 minutes of commercials when the lights dim. Thank you! Wait, there is more. As one might expect, there is also an on-site snack bar, but unlike other theatres, the price of food and drink (everything from popcorn, candy, pizza, and soda to cookies, pretzels, ice cream, and hot dogs) at Film.Ca is reasonable with free refills on large-sized popcorn and soda. Excellent! A night at Film.ca is always a pleasurable movie-going experience. Film.Ca is a clean, accessible, and well-maintained establishment, and its staff are always helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Parking is free.

Film.ca has done a great job of renovating their cinema. Staff are very friendly , concession prices are a lot lower than Cineplex.
They do a great job in involving the local; community , eg Green Screens.
The only negative is that seating is flat not tiered.
