Sensational enjoyment for the entire family!
Dec. 2019 • Family
I LOVE the regent theatre! We come to see all Silly Stages performances. We live in Oakville however make the drive because their shows are fantastic. We love the Pantomime shows. Old and young the humour is amazing! Well directed, sensational talent, fantastic writers and brilliant choreography! Cannot wait to go back! So sad we are missing Silly Stages summer shows!!! 🥰

Bowie Lives
Mar. 2020 • Friends
We have been to the Regent many times for various shows/concerts. We saw the Box on Friday and Bowie Lives Saturday.
Both were amazing. Most staff is friendly except one who works behind the bar. Everytime he is there he looks absolutely miserable. People are out for a good fun night smile have fun with people.
Shows amazing clean venue.

ABBAmania / Night Fever
Jan. 2020
What a great show. This was my first time at this venue and I can honestly say there isn't a bad seat in the house.
I booked tickets for this several months before and we were a large group (30+) I booked with Valarie and she was incredibly helpful in organizing our tickets and having them ready for pick up.
As we were a large group of mostly women, I was worried that we were going to be louder than the show (because who doesn't sing a long to all these songs?!). Thankfully the sound was fantastic and we didn't upstage them.
The night started with Night Fever, and this guys were brilliant. Bee Gees is not an easy band to cover and if I closed my eyes I would have thought that it was the real Bee Gees. Next up was ABBA and they were great as well. Both bands were interactive with the audience.
I can't wait to go back to see another show here.

Wonderfully Cared For
Nov. 2019
Went to a quartet that has been together for 26 years. I really wasn't sure I would enjoy it. I was enthralled with their songs, songwriting and how well these four women played various instruments. They were fantabulous (dictgionary of Leanna) and I would go again. The REGENT theatre is wonderfully maintained and elegant/beautiful. In an age where the old theatres are being closed and torn down THIS one is extremely well maintained and loved. The price to go to this venue was very very reasonable for anyone.

No pre sale tix for 4 accessible seats?
Dec. 2019 • Family
My family and I were very excited when we found out one of our favorite films was on at the regent! However when my wife went to buy tix a day early for us she was told there were no pre sales. this wouldn't be a problem usually but in this case my son who has cerebral palsy and is wheelchair bound will be attending with us. There are a total of 4 accessible seats at the regent. My wife was told to come early. Would it not be a better policy to allow people in need of these seats to at least reserve them...rather than putting them in a position where they have to race to the venue an hour early in hope that they will simply have a seat? this policy is outdated and insensitive.

True ticket cost.
Nov. 2019
Just beware the cost of a ticket is much higher than advertised after fees x2 are added.
A $50.00 ticket is actually $58.00. A $45.00 ticket is actually $53.00. They have even added a $5.00 fee to raise money for a benefit concert.

Floyd Factor terrible band
Sep. 2019
This was the worst Pink Floyd tribute band I have ever seen the Floyd Factor at the Casino Du Lac-Leamy Friday September 13th 2019 no video setup the sax player looked like he was drunk and couldn't play the keyboard player sounded like he was in the karaoke band when they needed to play with the slide guitar it had no sound the drummer was bouncing up and down like a yo-yo. This band is terrible.

Another Jaw Dropping Show!
Jul. 2019 • Family
So glad I brought the family today to see the Little Mermaid! What a treat. From the incredible lighting displays, to the goose bump inducing vocal performances, to the amazing costumes and puppetry - we were dazzled and in awe! Well done Joan and Zac Mansfield, you should be proud!

Floyd Factor 04/06, left after 25 minutes - terrible
Apr. 2019 • Family
Worst concert. I've ever seen in my life - Floyd Factor 04/06, left after 25 minutes; may have been worst concert I've ever attended. I know High School students that can play better. First music concert I've attended at Regent; if this is the crap they expect to be paid for, I will never go again. Did see Jeremy Hotz here about a month ago and it was good, but I'd like my money back for Floyd "No" Factor

A Classic
Dec. 2018 • Couples
The Regent is a theatre that has been totally refurbished to bring it back to its heyday in Oshawa. Well worth the visit if you enjoy classic theatres.
