Join us to discover Ottawa at your own pace! We've been providing Ottawa with first-class bicycle tours and rentals since 1976, and love nothing more than to help people discover the beauty of the Ottawa-Gatineau region on two wheels.
We offer bicycle rentals, guided tours, sales and service. We're the only bicycle rental shop located directly on the pathway system, meaning you'll never have to deal with cars or streets. All you need to do is grab a bike and ride right out the door! Located under street level on the Rideau Canal at 2 Rideau St. beside the Senate of Canada.

Great tour despite the heat. Went down the canal and then back up the river. Nice pace, good explanation, good bike. Highly recommend it

Rentabike Ottawa provided an excellent, well tuned road bicycle for a long ride through Gatineau park. They were knowledgable and very helpful. They have a love of cycling which translated to excellent recommendations and tips on a great ride. I've rented with them before and will every time I come to Ottawa.

The Gatineau Park can be accessed on recreational pathways from our Rideau Canal location, so both safe and scenic.

Had to end early. They only adjust saddle height. Bike reach very uncomfortable and caused blisters within an hour, very unhelpful. Rush you in and out

Is cycling from here to Gatineau Park ok eg are there cycle paths and is it easy to navigate? Thanks

Yes, there’s many scenic paths along the Ottawa/Gatineau River and it’s beautiful. It is very hilly so, you’d have to be a more experienced cyclist. You can also cycle along the canal, to Hogs Back Falls, all the way to Chelsea or far into Gatineau Provincial Park.

I reserved online which made the checkout process faster; however it seemed like they had plenty of bikes so it's also probably OK not to reserve ahead of time. You don't have to prepay to reserve.

Hi I am interested in renting bikes when my 2 lady friends and I are visiting from BC in mid June. We are leisure riders and would need women's bikes with at least a few gears for hills. Does one need to reserve (or can we)? Do we need to bring helmets or are you still renting them with the bikes? Can one rent the bike and then lock it somewhere while you have lunch or whatever? What would be the cost including tax for a bike, helmet, and lock for each? Just wondering. Thanks.
