Rideau Hall is the official residence of the Queen and the Governor General. It is an impressive building. We found the tour to be interesting and we had the opportunity to learn about the Canadian government and its relationship with the English Monarchy.

Worth the visit ... you see the public spaces but none of the residence, and private office spaces. Fun to see in person the rooms you see on TV and in the media. And it's free, though you have to reserve in advance.
