Reasonably priced and very educational. Used the audio to understand the history of Bytown. The audio was very conversational which made learning fun.

We learned a lot about the canal and the history of early Ottawa. Interesting artifacts displayed in a discerning and attractive manner. Very well done.

Ottawa started with Colonel Bye and the area still holds his name Excellent history of the area and the military canal that started the city

This place is a nice little museum that can be visited under 1 hour. In fact, the audioguide (free with entrance fee) lasts about 45 minutes and covers everything contained in the museum (except for the free Rideau Canal exhibit behind the ticketing office). Bear...More
