Grabbed an Uber as slightly out of the way from downtown, and it was worth the trip. Unfortunately, the cafe was closed so no hot chocolate, but the falls are quite unique. Not sure if it is because of the snow all around, but it...More

Visited here in mid March! Very nice with all the frozen ice around the falls as the water was rushing around. It was a bit icy walking around the park near the falls but understandable as the mist from the falls freezes

Hogs Back Falls is an incredible piece of nature. Winter or Summer, this is a must when visiting Ottawa. Very easily accessible and such an awe-inspiring spectacle.

It is near a lot of other activities and a good place to enjoy a picnic near the locks. Quiet and plenty of areas to relax.

I love visiting Hogs Back Falls. There are plenty of walking areas, and once you cross the road you'll see the huge new play park in Mooney's Bay. Unfortunately the public washrooms are closed in the fall (I'm not sure about the spring), so make...More

Nice falls surrounded by parks and pathways. Kids enjoyed the park on the other side of the road, and the stand nearby had ice cream!

The falls are just a few minutes outside of the city and are a beautiful site to behild. They are small but well placed in a beautiful park and accessible via a very short walk from the car-park (which is free for a short time).

This is like going to a beautiful waterfall--but it's in a city--not out in the country. You have to take the time to walk around and down on the rock formations.

No this is a free park. It is mainly used for playing with kids or your dog. There are public washrooms and usually food vendors. At certain days of the week you will find a fitness group called "Warriors of fitness" doing... More
