The guides are well primed in their history

It's worth joining gin with any group being led on a tour in these historic halls. There are many artistic memos of moments in Canadian parliamentary history.

Parliament Hill is a lovely piece of history. The tours I believe are free and scenically it's beautiful. It's the capital city of Canada and the centre of Canadian government, plus a trip up the peace tower leaves you with a birds-eye view of Ottawa. Some nights even include a lights show on the hill.

The grounds of this beautiful building are well kept and invite people to stroll through them discovering the multitude of statues throughout the grounds. Take time by the Peace Flame to take in the wonderful historical buildings that circle the flame.

Beautiful and majestic building with a 45 minute tour that lets you see the Senate House and the breathtakingly beautiful library! Finish off the tour with a ride up the Peace Tower for 360degree views of the city!

Lots of construction downtown, so we parked on the street in the Byward section. Still an easy walk to the views over the Ottawa River, of Parliament Hill, the Chateau Laurier, and Rideau Canal. Many shops and restaurants in Byward to satisfy any tastes. Almost European ambiance!

You do feel a sense of importance when you walk up to the main entrance. More Canadians should visit and experience the significance this location in Canadian history.

Very nice buildings and a must while visiting Ottawa. You have to plan ahead if you want to visit it inside. Besides the great views from the front there are other better views from Nepean Point and from the Canadian History Museum in Hull.

Any Canadian will probably get a tingling feeling on their 1st visit to see our Parliament Buildings. I still do after multiple visits. There is usually something happening there.

Nothing like a Canada day, warm summer evening or even a winters night seeing the sites parliament hill has to offer!! If you're visiting or even live here you need to come down and see the summer light show/winter light show.
