Amazing way to bond with friends. As soon as you start moving you feel the adrenaline rush, the music is blasted, your legs are pumping, and everyone is immediately brought up to another level of mood. Everyone is smiling & laughing as you pedal yourselves down the street. The bonus is you get to have a beer/ drink between all the workouts. And it is a work out! I loved this experience and would recommend it to anyone celebrating something special, or for a team building experience.

We had an excellent experience celebrating our friend's birthday! Jessie was a fantastic captain, very attentive and fun! She even allowed us to DJ and present cupcakes to the guest of honour! We biked to 3 venues on bank street which all had affordable drink specials, great value and delicious cocktails at each place. Be sure to dress warmly as it can be quite chilly on September nights. Would recommend for a special occasion especially if you're seeking a social activity combined with physical !

We booked the Hintonburg Ottawa pub crawl for a birthday party consisting of 10 adults.
We had a great experience.
1) The party pilot was very friendly, energetic, and kept us engaged with hilarious bike games/ rules.
2) We were greeted with free appetizers at the bars that we visited and there were great drink deals at all three locations.
3) The peddling from bar to bar was manageable for all fitness levels and we played our favourite music as we peddled
I highly recommend this tour for all occasions.

THIS WAS SO FUN! Our guide Max set the high standard of vibes for our Thursty Pedaler tour right from the start- and kept the vibes high the entire journey. Our group had so much fun doing this, from sweating and trying to peddle to beat traffic, to singing along and making tons of noise as we cruised through lansdowne. 10/10 recommend the Thursty Pedaler to anyone looking for an exciting activity out on the town. This is perfect for anyone who lives in Ottawa, has friends/family visiting, or visiting Ottawa themselves.

This was an amazing experience!! We surprised a friend on her birthday with the pub crawl and it was such a success for everyone who participated. Our host Max was very kind and fun, he immediately connected with our group, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who is looking to do something fun and out of the ordinary with a group of friends in the city. Just be ready to put the pedal to the metal!!

I hesitated between 3 or 4 stars, this was a lot of fun and our “pilot” was amazing! The reason for a lower score is because I found it expensive for the value ($55 per person after tax).
I was under the impression that some sample size drinks would be included, based on the description on the website. Instead, we got a shot sized sample of pina colada and a scotch egg (??). Nothing at the 3rd place. The first two locations had “specials” (1 option at the first place and 2 options at the second place, nothing at the 3rd). The two specials I got were a bit disappointing taste-wise - a floral margarita thing, it was red and tasted like a flower (the pina colada we tasted was good, but it wasn’t a special which I thought was weird), and vodka thing that was blue (I should have gotten the beer option).
In the end, we spent about $350 for two people, including food, tip, etc. Nothing is served on the “bike”, I thought we might get some snacks but no, not even water - bring your own.
What you are paying for is the experience on the bike and your pilot’s time, which is totally understandable, but you are not spending much time on the bike. We took a detour through Landsdowne on the way to the first location, which was fun, but the we barely got through one song between locations 2 and 3. I would have liked a longer route.
So overall, it was a great time but it’s not the cheapest excursion and you aren’t getting any extras.

Hey Catherine! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on here.
We understand the price point can seem a bit steep, but please remember that we are a small independently-owned business that was unable to operate half the season last year and this year due to a pandemic.
Similarly, the small businesses we support along our tour were in the same boat, and unfortunately not all have rebounded from the financial blow of closing their doors for months and months. As such, not all partners are able to provide "freebies" or extras at this time.
We are happy to hear you enjoyed your party pilot and wish you had spent more time on the bike! It's a fine balance between pedaling and partying for each group, but we strive to hit that sweet spot and provide a fun and safe outdoor experience where friends and family can gather and celebrate, while supporting local.

Jessie was a great leader and our group of 10 had a great time celebrating a birthday party. It's fun to be a tourist in your own city! Jessie was super responsive to all my questions ahead of time and let me pick 3 partner restaurants to stop at. I loved not having to worry about reservations on a busy Friday night. Every partner restaurant was ready for us when we arrived and offered us small beer samples. I especially enjoyed thr33's CO snack bar which I would not have discovered without the tour. We thought we were going to be cold but it was quite the opposite. I was worried the group might not find it fun but the feedback was great! I would definitely do this again for team building or if I had visitors from out of town.

Our group had a fun time on the Thursty Pedaler but thought the cost was a bit high considering the tour doesn't include sample beers or vouchers at the pubs you visit. We also didn't have a table ready for us at one of the locations, which meant we had to wait for drinks and then were rushed to get to the next stop. Despite this we still had fun - sharing only to manage expectations and for consideration to build on the experience :)

Loved it! My girlfriend and I had a ton of fun. Our guides were exceptional and kept the music pumping while we pedaled through the Glebe. We were with a great group of people and the bars were very accommodating, and of course, kept the drinks flowing. 100% recommend for a fun, outside-the-box

We had such a blast riding up and down bank street! We have slightly sore bums the following day from the bike seats but well worth it! Our only complaint would be the time limit for the first 2 stops felt very rushed. The servers were quick to take our orders but slow to bring them out so by the time we got them we felt like we had to chug down our drinks or eat way too fast then back on the bike. We would have ordered 2 drinks at the first stop right away. Tons of fun!
