If you are running late guarantee your seats and get better quality sound plus larger screen, this is the way to it. This location is one of the few theatres offering this feature. Go on Tuesday and less than $10 per person.

UltraAVX features wall-to-wall screens that are significantly larger on average than our traditional screens. Adding to the experience is a superb digital surround sound system utilizing the latest in Dolby Digital sound technology. Christie Solaria 2230 DLP Cinema® projectors provide a superior digital presentation projecting visually stunning, crystal clear images onto the big screen. The system is further enhanced with the addition of RealD 3D technology enabling us to also present the latest 3D movies. Guests will love the new reserved seating option especially when they settle in to the extra wide high back rocker seats.

This is the new way to watch movies at the theatre. Comfortable, reclining leather seats and so much leg room that you can be fully reclined and not have to move if someone walks in front of you. The theatre is clean, the sound is crystal clear and the overall experience was amazing. I recommend this theatre if you want to watch a movie and enjoy all the comforts of home.

Overall I love this theater but tonight when we went there was no toilet paper and one of the sinks was blocked with black water. I have to say this was a first for me, usually it's very tidy.
I don't appreciate buying the tickets from a stupid machine that never works the first time. Why are they eliminating human beings as cashiers?
We will continue to go to this theatre as it is normally good and clean.

Movie theaters are generally the same, all that really matters are the prices, the ambiance, and the seats. I grew up close to this theater and have fond memories of my grandma telling me to sneak food into the cinema. At first I thought this was something all grandmothers did, from stealing wet-wipes to hiding digestive biscuits in large trench coats, but for once, my grandma's post war mentality paid off; the food was extremely expensive. Personally, I don't like paying 6 dollars for a bag of popcorn, not too mention, the popcorn here is awful. On another note, this cinema does have giant snake-charmers and King Kong hanging from the ceiling. All in all, this is your average cinema, where it really only matters what movie you're going to see. In which case, the Coliseum has all that you require.

went to see a film recently this cinema. Wasn't an overly busy day but the place was filthy. Excessive popcorn littering the floor - everywhere. Even on the escalator. Poor little peices of discarded popcorn were being mashed over and over again on the esclator stair. Popcorn buttering station was thick with topping and popcorn. Staff lacadaisically standing around and apparently not noticing the detritus everywhere. One staff member with broom and dustpan seemed more interested in his phone. Doubt I'll ever waste $100 there again anytime soon.

Huge cinema rooms, lots of parking and lots of staff, so you don't have to wait in line for hours! Bring a sweater, the AC is on high.

Clean rooms, very comfortable chairs. Lineup is still fast even tho it's very crowded. Service is really good. Popcorn was fresh and nachos were full. A bit disappointed with the Escape gameroom as some of the games didnt work and we lost out on some money. Overall it was a nice family outing.

A Star is Born. Drugs, alcohol abuse, sex, language. No problem for us as forewarned is fore armed. Except that right behind me was a three year old constantly calling out loud, “Mommy!” and kicking my seat. In the quietest of moments in what I think was a half decent movie, “Mommy!”

People around were very Ottawa tolerant and let it go but after the movie there were outraged customers. A single mother perhaps seeking some time of her own, but taking a child to a movie like that?

The Ottawa Coliseum has been renovated and now offer reclining lazy boy type seats which are incredibly comfortable. This really is the way to watch a movie. Would recommend buying your tickets ahead of time as the lineups can be long and for some reason slow. They offer wine and beer here now as well as some other fast food type options.
