It wasn't a clear day when I went up but it was still a nice addition to the to the tour of Parliament. You have to go up in the lift of another six people which can cause some delays up and down, and also...More

Needless to say, the Peace Tower is certainly one of the MUST SEE attractions in Ottawa. It is part of the Parliament visit. The 360' view from the top of the tower is just great. Find out your self or look at some of the...More

This elevator is actually on a 9 deg incline. You can't tell when riding it. You can see when the elevators open up and you look up through the gap. It is quite interesting. As you ride up, be sure to look for the bells...More

Our tour included a trip to the tower - beautiful; there is a small chapel dedicated to the soldiers fallen in a number of wars that Canada was in

Worth the wait to see overall view of Ottawa. However you have to get the free tickets from 90 Wellington Street first. I arrived at 1pm and had a 2pm on a Friday. Parliament tickets were out. Your patience of getting through the tight security...More

Great views from top, spoiled by many dirty window glasses (spoils photos). You have to queue for airport style security for access, again for lift up, again for lift down. Admission by timed ticket only - can only get it on the day. Low rating...More

During our visit there was a lot of refurbishments going on. The house was heavily guarded and access was limited, however you could walk around the outskirts and still see the building and statues

If you take a tour of the Parliament Buildings you must go to the Peace Tower. You see some of the bells as you travel up the elevator. From the Peace Tower you have an awesome view.

Es muy interesante ver el aspecto multicultural que hay en Canadá. Vimos un representante del parlamento de origen indio y el enorme respeto de los parlamentarios al tratar temas en que discrepaban. Admirable.
