Pedestrian Street that is used for various festivals and special events, on regular days it is nothing special. With the constant construction it has been rather pointless for the last few years and during 150 it still has construction going on so festivals will be broken up into sections. Worth a walk, but only if it has something special on... More

Shopped at this chic, fun, women's clothing store twice. I have been very pleased both times with the personal service and my Joseph Ribkoff dresses I purchased. A2 pret a porter carries Joseph Ribkoff, Frank Lyman clothing and also a few other designer lines. The owner, Alicja Postolek, is very knowledgeable and gives you her complete undivided attention. Alicja knows... More

It's nice to get from A to B on pedestrian mall without cars but the main feature seems to be outdoor restaurant patios in summer and a few well restored old buildings.

Joined my family to watch SpringAction Trampoline perform at Buskerfest 2016 - Sparks Street was a great venue for this - plenty of room and good traffic for supporting the performers. After the trampoline, we walked and saw other performances, which were all fun to watch and not cramped. One item lacking on Sparks Street is public washrooms - not... More

Depends when you visit. Be sure to go when there's a busker or food event. Poutine & Rib Fest is great. Most rotate & return annually.

A new restaurant on the mall that isn't solely focussed on beer. We needed some gf options. 36C but lots of shade, chilled beverages and good food.

This street has history behind it - check Nicolas Sparks. The mall has a number of great places to eat and unique Canadian art shops. We are here now during Buskerfest and it is a blast. Yes their is construction going on, like most cities.

Here at 9:30 pm on a Saturday waiting for the sound and light show. Half the restaurants are closed and the ones that are open like the Cock and Bull are busy. Sitting on their patio the flower water people are coming by with their noisy truck wetting all the people on the patio.who is in charge of this? Why... More

Ribfest 2016 had about 15 huge truck-kitchens cooking ribs, chicken, cornbread etc competing for various trophies. People queued for their plates of food & the air was filled with aromas of smoky BBQ sauce. This is one of several events which fill Sparks Street with locals & tourists.
