We have visited before but just thought I would review this pub for TripAdvisor. Saturday afternoon quiet but sure much busier in the evening. Must return soon and test this theory. For the moment a good and quiet place to have a drink with friends and kick back after a day in the Gatineau. Will definitely be back.

Imagine during the Karaoke yesterday @ CENTER TOWN PUB, two guys were doing a blow job in front of people naked . I find it is very low class, we are there for singing , not to watch people having sex. Dan the barman told me to leave and security men, I can not believe they do not respect customers.... More

I have gone to Centretown Pub since its opening night 30 years ago. I have liked its laid-back ambience. And most of the staff have been great. On Thursday night, however, I had an experience that has led me to decide not to return. I overheard one of the servers slam Muslims -- because they don't drink. I called him... More

Visiting for the first time finding this place on the gaycity app and found it to be very friendly. Barman had a great sense of humour and asked us about our home in the UK and offered advice on Ottawa. Even the obvious regulars joined in! Recommended.

If you hang out with gay friends or gay-wannabe friends or gay-friendly friends, this is the perfect place. You will feel slightly gay or even not at all: front terasse would be fun on summer, back terasse also if you want more intimacy. Look around before putting your name in pool list. Cheap bear every sunday pm. Feel like dancing,... More

If you're not a well known regular customer at CP, you'll feel like an extra terestrial. Staff people are like robots, they won't be friendly, they won't smile or make any eye contact, unless they know you for years... No wonder I was the only tourist here, no woder the bar was very quiet... on a saturday night! Pathetic place... More

A charming pub with pretty obvious cruising. This pub has all the qualities required to maintain a successful operation for years to come - provided that improvements are made to the washrooms, staff professionalism, and basement level (as a whole). The bar is becoming quite run-down in many aspects. An infusion of investment and pride in the pub will do... More
