Section 108, Row C — great view for a hockey game
Didn’t eat or drink while on-site, so can’t speak to that; although there were a few food and beverage options. No purses allowed. Security check was a breeze, no delays entering. Parking was easy… $20 paid online after scanning a QR code posted in the lot. There are other closer, more expensive parking options too, as well as free. Expect to walk. We were there for a pre-season NHL game, so really great tickets were reasonably priced (although still not cheap). Seats were comfy, wider than many stadium seats. There were no vendors in the stands… perhaps because this was pre-season. Washrooms had minimal lineups. There’s a big souvenir shop. Ambiance was fun with live DJ. Expect people to stand along the glass for warmup, which is annoying for those of us who paid for close seats.

    Loved our Sens game experience
Staff at this venue are top notch!! Engaging with the fans and helpful for any information you may require! The venue itself was great! Parking was good but getting into parking and out after a hockey game means having plenty of patience…

A good place to watch some NHL hockey! Fun atmosphere, good fans.
Was able to see the Senators vs Avalanche in an amazing high-scoring game! Arena is very nice, I was impressed! I question the random location but it is a very nice arena. One word of advice, do NOT get yourself into a pickle, leave your bags at home or in the car. They don’t even let you bring in a purse for some reason, so my fiance had to race down my Dad who dropped us off. The Sens fans are a lot of fun, and very nice. I was wearing an Avs jerseys and still having pleasant conversations with Sens fans. Don’t know if that would’ve been different if I was wearing my Leafs jersey though ahaha. Had a great time here!

    Great Hockey Rink
What a great rink to watch a hockey game. Parking was easy. Log into the app online to prepay and simply show your receipt, or each parking lot had an attendant to direct people where to QR scan to pay onsite. Parking is close to rink so we didn’t need to bring all our coats in. Rink is easy to navigate, but narrow hallways congest quickly close to game time, Also, if you can, exiting after a game is hectic and it was recommended to stay at the restaurant for a drink after which was perfect. The 40 minutes to enjoy time with other hockey fans was fun and the roads were cleared and easy to leave.

I think zero stars should be an option, because having to give one star, skews the overall rating.

I purchased a raincoat for my daughter's golden retriever. Brought it home, tried it on but it was too small, so went yesterday to return it.
The raincoat was clean, had all the tags attached and was returned with the hanger it was purchased on. It was in the exact same condition as when I had purchased it. They would not refund because it had been 'opened' and 'used'. Interestingly, they could label the item defective and then could give me a store credit (which expires in 1 year). I was baffled, how do you 'open' a raincoat on a hanger? It was 'used' because it had been tried on. They then added that it was unhygienic - does anyone else think this is ridiculous? And help me understand the application of the term 'defective' here.

I called Head Office from the parking lot, the representative put me on hold, called Roger (he was the manager on duty that I had spoken to) and then repeated what he had said to me , i.e. the item had been open and used. She mentioned also that there was a 'mark' on the coat. I went back in to the store to look for the 'mark'. The young woman said it was a hair. I couldn't see it so put my reading glasses on - it was some fibers that weere thinner and smaller than an eyelash, definitely not a golden retriever, and quite frankly, it was not pet hair of any kind.
I mentioned to the HO person that a pet store and Amazon would readily accept a return. She correctly noted that different stores can have different policies. True enough and customers will always factor that in when making a purchase. And I understand reasonable application of polices for truly 'opened' and 'used' items. But in this instance, whose policy makes more sense and which policy would make for a repeat customer?

The icing was Roger's (the manager) somewhat smug ' Have a nice day' at the end of an unpleasant interaction. I extended the same to him with 'you too'.

Canadian Tire - you should be embarrassed

Couple of photos attached: The first is of the jacket hanging in the store before I purchased it. The rest are from my return with the last shot a zoom to show the hair.

Always hate going to The CTC for an event. The arena is fine and the events are always good, but parking is insane. Overpriced at $29 and madness to get out of the lot after the event. One entrance in and the same one exit out. Used to have police helping with cars leaving, now even that is gone. Always been a problem here, always will be until they figure out a better system. Probably won’t with SENS maybe moving downtown. For shame…

Parking is awful. I came back to the car to a $100 parking ticket. I am not sure where but there is a QR code you are supposed to use to pay for parking ? No signage anywhere. Feels like a trap. I think the revenue must be greater via parking tickets rather than have someone at the gate to take your money as you enter the lot.

Last night at the Morgan Wallen sept 21 concert a group of 6 of us ($2400) we sitting in our seats when Susan (not sure of her position here) took three of our guys aside to kick them out for absolutely nothing: we were literally sitting in our seats when she approached us. She told them they had too much to drink (no proof of this whatsoever) they didn’t even have drinks in thier hand. There was absolutely not grounds for this. She then proceeded to kick the rest of us out for absolutely no reason before the show even started. We have looked online and found others with the same thing happening to them with this same woman Susan. This totally unacceptable and unfair to us. We were having a good time, you can not just kick people out of your venue for absolutely NO REASON. We travelled 10 hours to be there. We got babysitters for our children. We got hotels. We took time off of work: for what? To be kicked out for no reason! This person needs to be reevaluated, and fired in my opinion. Don’t go here and try to have fun- they don’t like when people have fun and they kick you out for it.

i had an awesome time at the canadian tire centre. i am from toronto so i’ve only been to scotiabank arena, this was my first time here. at first i was sceptical that the venue was not actually in ottawa and was in the middle of nowhere in a barren wasteland. i took the 404 bus there and it was very nausea inducing but it is smart that there is a bus only lane, very convenient. you may pay cheaply with presto card, very nice. the bus wasn’t that busy. though i saw a concert and not a senators game. when i went in the venue it was very nice and there was a tim hortons in there whcih was a pleasant surprise. but they don’t serve bagels at this location the hallways are quite narrow i will say. . i spent 33 dollars on a slice of pizza, a hard seltzer, and bottled water. after the show it was semi easy to find the bus back and it was an unpleasant but necessary ride. 10/10
