Fun experience! Recommend

I have been here twice, each with a different group of friends (adults early to mid 30s). Our most recent trip was May 2023 in the Pirates Code. We also did the Cabin in the Woods in April 2019 (but I don't think I wrote a review back then). We successfully escaped both rooms within the time limit. Both were fun, manageable, and interesting. I liked the Pirates Code better of the two as it felt like there was more variety within the room. I would come back here to do another room. The staff was great - they were friendly and very clear on instructions. I was a bit disappointed that they did not offer pics or props this time around as it would have been nice to take a "we escaped!" photo as a memento of our success, but it might be a post-COVID thing. I would recommend doing an escape room here! Bonus - they offer a discount on select restaurants nearby for you to dine at before or after your room (same day).

The Diamond heist was at an acceptable level for a medium room and it was fun. The staff were felxible on changes in booking and refunds. Maybe a little room for improvement in using different puzzles more.

My grandson and I had the most amazing time in our escape room. The staff was kind and helpful. Would highly recommend it and would definitely return and do another room when visiting Ottawa.

Awesome night!

Awesome night! Went with my 11 years old son and my 18 years old daughter and her boyfriend. Had a blast, was able to escape within an hour. Great “family” building. Would recommend to anyone!

our first time going and we did their new room "Pirates Code" the room was very nice looking and really sets the mood and matchs the theme. we were surprised when we walked into the room "WOW... this is so cool" just being in the room is an experience by itself, they must have spent a lot of time making it. its one of the harder rooms and with just the two us we almost made it out, the puzzles are really well made but not imposible we had so much fun and will for sure go again to try out the other rooms.

SIMPLY THE BEST, YOU NEED TO GO HERE

I'm an avid escape-room goer and these rooms are BY FAR the best. So much detail in the decor and lots of creative puzzles that are much more creative and uses the room well other than just your typical "get code - unlock padlock - rinse - repeat". For new and experienced escape room artists I highly recommend Jigsaw

Fun Time!

This was our second time at the Jigsaw Escapes Rooms. This time we di the Castle room. The puzzles are pretty challenging, at least for us, but we gad so much fun! The hour just flies by! The rooms are very well done and the operation runs really well. You can't beat the location if you're staying around the Market. The lighting did make it a little difficult to read some material. We will definitely be back!

Best escape rooms in the city!!

What an amazing experience!!

Highly recommend - I’ve done 2 different rooms and I’m excited to try the others. These escape rooms are so well crafted, and unique in comparison to others I have tried in the city and/or abroad.

Definitely a must try!!

For those that have concerns due to COVID (as I did - especially as I brought my kids along for the adventure), they have very strict cleaning protocols that included a thorough top to bottom sanitization of each and every game room after every session. They also ensure all participants are double vaxxed and have thoroughly used hand sanitized prior to entering the game room, which makes this a fun and safe outing to do even during the pandemic.

Thanks for offering such an entertaining experience by providing this hidden gem in the Byward Market that feels like a mini-escape from the current reality.

I will most definitely be back :)
