Indian River Reptile Zoo is unique in Canada and is one of the most modern and exciting specialized animal centers in the world! Here you can see snakes, lizards, monitors, alligators, turtles, crocodiles, and even special guest animals such as monkeys and more! The animals are housed in state of the art, climate controlled facilities which were specifically designed to house reptiles.we were first and only reptile zoo to be accredited by the Canadian Association of Zoos & Aquariums (CAZA) and have remained accredited since that time. We are a non-profit charity.

Crocs! Gators! Snakes! Lizards! More reptiles than you could shake a stick at. Delightful. And not a single amphibian to be seen anywhere. As it should be... I'm looking at you, kayaks at the Canoe Museum! Stay focused! Seriously though it was a wonderful experience!...More

I took my 11 year old niece there. A staff person walked through the zoo providing us with information about each creature, such as a snapping turtle, different snakes, lizards, etc. It was raining, and umbrellas were provided so we could walk between the buildings....More

My family and I were pleased with this visit, our children loved the animals, and the attractions outside, we also enjoyed the live show, it taught them a lot and also they involve the children with the animals. Overall very satisfied ....

Took my girls and they liked seeing all the Reptiles but I was shocked at how small the place was and how much they charged for entry,, if you find a deal and can get coupons would be better,,
