A good park with lots of open space and a nice beach. It is along the walking/bike path that goes, at least as far as I know, from Peterborough to Lakefield. A good place for a few hours rest on a sunny day.

This park has something for everyone-- including a super neat outdoor gym! However it is geared toward older population and therefore doesn't challenge the younger athlete who may want to use it. It would be awesome if some of the equipment were updated to reflect this. Also, kids need to stay off it, they have their own playground! Nice little beach although again it is often overrun with children. Not much you can do about that other than visit during school hours.…

The park is really clean because, all summer there are part time students working to keep it clean every day. Now the beach is closed a little too often but I guess they are keeping the water safe to go in after a storm.

There is a large kids park, washrooms, outdoor gym, gazebos, soccer nets and fields for other activities. Close to the nature trail. Always well maintained.
