When she heard that the Americans were going to fight in our country, Laura went early in the morning that the Americans were going to attack Canada. Laura saved Canada. We visited here 10 years ago and enjoyethe house of Laura Secord and had some nice ice cream too. Nice old fashioned setting with lovely house around and a quaint church too!

We had previously stopped at this museum while en route a year ago to Niagara Falls and it was closed; we were pleased to see that it was open (with covid19 protocols) this week when we drove by. It highlights an important era in Canadian history, and we learned a lot in the short visit. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and as we were the only ones going through at the time he was able to answer lots of questions. Worth the visit when you are in the area!…

The staff is in period attire and the tours are very interesting. The history of Canada, as we know it today, started in this area. The pictures and house is informative.
