Queenston Heights Park had wars, but the Canadians won.

However they have a beautiful monuments The best is the Best is the Brock .
Monument.

Everybody comes here for the Brock Monument.

There is a beautiful view on the NIagara River.

There are a lot to see here. The panels.

There are Interpretive signs in English and French. It is all about war.

There is a playground as well.

Beautiful park, history, and river views
Nov. 2020 • Couples
We spent close to an hour exploring this space after our hike on the Bruce Trail along the escarpment. Raven in November, the park was a lovely mix of colourful leaves, a range of trees, and a wonderful memorial to the indigenous tribes who allied with the British and were instrumental in the battle’s victory. Brock’s Monument is impressive, with its spectacular view out over the Niagara River. There’s plenty of green space, a playground, and smaller buildings that are open during tourist season but are now closed. This includes the public washrooms! Plenty of parking, and well worth a visit - all free of charge.

A GENERAL SHINING THROUGH THE MIST
Dec. 2019
Site of one of the most famous battles of the War of 1812, the area today is known for the monument to General Brock who died in the battle to reclaim the heights from intruding American forces. It is in its full glory in the summer months when you can climb the tower and dine in the restaurant that affords fine views of the Niagara River. There is a statue of Laura Secord, today of chocolate fame but then a heroine of the War of 1812. It is a nice spot for a picnic or take a dog for a walk. There is a trail you can take to get some sense of the Battle of Queenston Heights.

First time visit
Oct. 2019 • Couples
Found this place when discovering Qeenston. Small historic building located in the park. Friendly host arranged a table for two without reservation. Pleasant atmosphere, good selection of dishes - brunch buffet. Price reasonable. Recommended.

Beautiful spot for a picnic!
Jun. 2019
This is a fantastic spot for your picnic or for wedding photos especially in the fall! Not a lot of parking in the main lot but the park isn't overly used.

VERY PLEASANT
Oct. 2019
Overlooking the Niagara River, this is an attractive park with great views. My wife and I had opportunity to call off and pop into the park when stopping off in the area whilst touring East Canada and enjoyed the visit.

Beautiful!
Oct. 2019
The area is serene, stunning and well-tended. There were many families enjoying the perfect autumn day, but there were also places for those who preferred relaxing quietly.

Very accessible throughout. Great views of some gorge-ous areas! Ecellent colorful plantings, well-maintained. Peaceful, great for picnics, wedding shots, and just good old-fashioned R & R time.
