An excellent two hour afternoon cruise that had informative narrative from the captain about the businesses and their histories along the St. Clair River. The trip went south to Stagg Island and then back upriver to Sarnia. Good weather on a Sunday afternoon. Start was 2:30 pm cost was $18. A couple of drinks from the bar and views of both American side and Canadian side. Absolutely worth it on a warm summer afternoon.

I called and asked a simple question and the guy ripped my head off. Very rude and I told him no need to be so rude. All hr had to say was, no sorry

It was a client and I on the boat with others from community living! Music was great! Dancing was great! Site seeing was great as well to see all the beautiful homes along the water! I love this boat ride and my client as well!

Booked a Birthday trip with a dozen or so friends. The rest of the ship was open to the General Public.

What a wonderful evening on the Duc D'Orleans. CDDC was playing, it was a hot cloudy start to the cruise, looked like a storm was rolling in. It cleared!! The crew on board the DUC were friendly and courteous. The live band was so much fun. The music they played was versatile and they sang great. It was a fundraiser for a small local charity. Medically Fragile children in Sarnia. Great cause.

We happened to walk by the cruise sign and impulsively decided to take the trip on a Sunday afternoon. (This is the lowest cost time to go, incidentally, because no meal is included.) We were pleasantly surprised at the length and quality of the outing.
I would recommend it to anyone. They helped a person in a wheelchair to get on, as well as took a personal interest in all the passengers. Well done!

We were very impressed with friendly and knowledgeable crew aboard. The lunch was okay but we thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hours. As a bonus we met two friendly people visiting from another country.

We are seniors and we took our kids (all adults) out for the Sunday afternoon party cruise. The band was rock and we had a ball. It is a 3 hour cruise and they have reasonably priced drinks on board. We all had a good time. I guess the only negative thing is there is no food available on board. I guess you could bring your own maybe. We are planning on going back again this summer.

Always fun to do the Duc! The cruise itself was excellent, checking out the homes on both sides of the border. The boat it self could use a little love (sprucing up) but I'd recommend and price point is more than fair.

Is there food available on the September 1st Cruise?
Jim B

We have two cruises on September 1st, however they’re both chartered events (not hosted by us) so we aren’t sure if the charterers are providing food. Our bar on board will offer chips and hot dogs.
Is there lots of seating
Jim B

It depends on the cruise. For normal sightseeing cruises there is plenty of seating. On private charters (ie. a live band) then it’s up to the charterer. They will usually request seating only on the main level, and the top level will be reserved as a dance floor.
Do you have cruises after labour day weekend. If so what time's and are they during the week

Our last cruise this year (2018) is on September 30. Please call for availability and reservations. Thank you.

How should I dress? What times does it leave?

As weather conditions are sometimes unpredictable on the water, we suggest wearing layers. We offer a luncheon cruise Monday - Saturday from 12:00-2:00pm (reservations are required) and we run a sight-seeing cruise (no meal) 2:30-4:30pm on Sundays.
