Buyer beware! You may want to spend you money elsewhere. This was a very expensive outing that left us bitter and unimpressed. We paid extra for the behind-the-scenes tour with the lions this was a very very expensive Google lesson. Mainly because we did not get to see the Lions up close and personal as indicated in fact we got more of the information session. Which lasted 30 minutes extremely disappointing and extremely expensive for no reason at all. This particular safari prides itself on being one of the best if that is the case I would hate to see what the others look like. In all honesty save a bit of your money and go to the Killman in Zoo. Perhaps it was because of the heat but we did not see very many animals except for a bunch of birds honestly if I wanted to see a bird sanctuary I would’ve gone to see a bird sanctuary.

Glow moves to different cities every year, and this year they are at Safari Niagara. Great display of Christmas lights. Done safely this year by having you buy tickets online for a carload- up to 7 people. Always impressed with Glows displays and they didn’t disappoint. Search online for Glow Niagara to find the site for tickets. Sample of pics attached

We went to see the Christmas light display. It was a lovely drive through experience. We got lucky and actually saw a reindeer (I'm sure by accident) as they have made sure the drive through doesn't affect the animals. The light displays were nice and well spaced. Took about 1/2 to drive through. Worth the drive out to see.

We had a nice time.
My daughter is 6 and she was a good age for this place.
When we arrived to the rides, only 3 out of the 7 were operating. Afterwards, we saw that attendants would close the ride they were operating to open another for a while. The rides are basically all the same. They go round and round. Good for little ones.
The music though. It is only 70’s music. It was so terribly annoying! SWITCH UP THE MUSIC! Your main customers have to be millennials taking their children.
Overall had a nice time.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour made by 2 staff members at the park. I was with my family and 5 children together. Trolly driver named Bill harassed my friend by pointing right in her face and then when she told him to stop he went inches from her face to continue being belligerent until I stepped in to stop the interaction. He didn’t want her on her cell phone. Second staff member Janette in charge of the Budgie experience would not allow a mother to be with her children during the interaction. She was very rude and does not understand customer service whatsoever. This was my first time at the park and I will never go again. Harassment is absolutely unacceptable, made even worse by children being present. Do better

We had a great time with my two daughters 11,15yrs old trekking around the safari. We choose to walk around rather than jump on the trams as they were packed solid. Don’t forget to wear hats, bring water and pack a lunch. And sunscreen . It was a hot sunny day, well worth the adventure for all ages!!

We should have been suspicious when its web site had no photos of the animals ...we should have been suspicious when the parking lot was nearly empty...we should have been suspicious when the girl in the ticket booth repeated numerous times that there would be no refunds....we should have left at that point...but after the 16K drive from the Falls ...we were committed and already there and decided "What the heck."
This place was just sad and pathetic....and the farther we walked into the facility, the worse it got. From the world's oldest, mangy looking kangaroo, to birds confined in small cages...from the wolves doing the "insanity pace" along the inside of the fence of their tiny enclosure...to the bear exhibit which was so depressing we had to walk away. And just when you think it couldn't get any worse...enter the saddest looking lion trapped in a 20X30 foot (approx) electrified cage...void of any grass...or foliage...just a mud-saturated turf.
There is nothing good here...we felt depressed and ashamed when we departed.. and we will be writing to the Canadian Government to lodge a formal complaint. This was hideous and should be totally "overhauled" or closed.

Really sad experience for us, as animal lovers. Overpriced, poorly run and the animals look dejected. With so many attractions and natural experiences to enjoy in the Niagara region, this is one you can skip. Our kids didn't even enjoy the experience, it was sobering more than interesting.

I'm sorry that our money went towards keeping this place running. It's easy to see that the habitats are nowhere near what a lion or other large animal needs. Even the habitats for the smaller animals and birds seemed inadequate. They are all chain link fence with gravel on the ground and the animals all seem terribly sad. I don't know how people can say that this is a great zoo. Obviously not every zoo can be as large as Toronto, but I'd much rather see fewer animals in larger habitats that suit their needs. It makes me wonder if there are any inspections for these places, and if there are, how low the standards must be.

Brought my two grandsons to visit this Safari. Living conditions for the large cats, foxes, wolves were deplorable. Cages were small, with dead trees, rocks and sand, no grass for grazing, no live trees for shelter and shade. all of the animals appeared to be so lonely and conditions were dismal to say the least. the Lynx had no other animal to socialize with, the cats were limited to two, the grizzly locked in a small shack because he was feeding. Shameful. I would not recommend to anyone and will never return here again. Inspections are every five years- i ask you is that sufficient? Not!! Tie for us to speak out.. and put an end to the misery of these poor suffering animals.
