Small gallery is an understatement. When we visited it was two artists and three small rooms. One piece per wall. I did not find much quality or creativity in what I saw. There is no charge but they ask for a donation.

Stratford Gallery some times is forgotten off-stage right of the Festival Theatre. Don’t. Our group wanted a check up on exhibits and thoroughly enjoyed the display of abstract acrylic work AND the guest curators show from the Gallery vault arranged by Jeremy and Carrie Wreford...More

Interesting gallery to see art from local artists. Need more pieces, although they are beautiful and inspiring. Also, you don't have to pay for tickets.

The Stratford Gallery always features top notch artists, but RON SHUEBROOK'S works are over the top in quality and innovation. Heavily influenced by Matisse, Hofmann and especially, Diebenkorn, his canvases sing with clarity, depth, imagination and...PENTIMENTI. There is a large blue diptych in the first...More

So glad you enjoyed Ron's work! We were thrilled to be able to bring together this collection of some of Ron Shuebrook's favourite works. He is represented by Olga Korper Gallery in Toronto so please look out for his next exhibit there.

We went here to see a current exhibition of pieces done by artists who work with fibres of various kinds. There was also a large piece of what, for want of a better word, I'll call performance art by Steve Driscoll. It was engaging, and...More

This delightful gallery is housed in an historic pump house. Exhibits change every few months, and there's a friendly, knowledgeable greeter to provide information about them. Admission is free, and this is a pleasant stop on your visit to Stratford. Just a five-minute walk through...More

I had expected a large gallery by the name, but it was a small one with exhibits probably from people living in the area(don't quote me, I'm not sure of that). There was a handicraft workshop for kids going on while we were there. It...More

This small gallery usually has very provocative installations and collections. Well worth visiting as part of the Stratford experience.

We found the photography, paintings, and metal sculptures very interesting, but were surprised by the limited display space.
