This charming museum gives a fine overview of the history of Stratford and Perth County, with special attention paid to the GTR/CNR shops that were in Stratford for a century, and to the Stratford Festival that is now the town's biggest employer. There is also...More

We have a lovely museum here in Stratford. They stay current and there are some fabulous exhibits there all the time, as well as special events. It's worth the visit.

Loved the exhibit on the discovery of the two ships under the ice in upper hudson bay, as well as the history of the railroads in Stratford!

Any visitor to the Stratford Festival should think about visiting this museum which is located just 5 minutes outside town. There is a core display celebrating the area's history...especially the contribution to both World Wars. and agriculture. However there are also changing displays...often highlighting the...More

There was not too much to visit or learn about. The fee was steep for a visit that was not interesting for a family.

Visited in early July 2017. You can be given a tour or just self tour. Children might think it is boring but adults will enjoy.

We liked the variety of topics. We also felt welcomed from the tour guides that were available. They had an exhibit that was a tie-in with the Stratford Festival to match the shows of the current season. Very clever.
