Stopped by in December to take a picture of all the kids at the Big Nickel. The centre itself is closed so it was just to take a pic . Very windy

The Big Nickel was very stunning and the mine tour, I was so amazed I never wanted to leave! I loved the entire tour except when they turned off all the lights when they explained How it would look like without the hat with a flashlight on. (I'm afraid of the dark). But besides that, PERFECT!!

Marie we had to include a stop in Sudbury to experience this attraction for ourselves. The nickel is not as large as I had pictured in my mind but still it's quite big and is mounted... More

I have been visiting this site since I was a young child. It's well worth a family visit. If you are passing through stop in and make some memories. The penny is history now the nickel may not be far behind.

This is something I have always wanted to see growing up in Ontario. We stopped here on our way home from Sault Ste. Marie. Unfortunately the Dynamic Centre was closed and the area around the Big Nickel was fenced off. An information stand or sign would have been a great idea, I would have liked to have learned something about... More

Hi Scott! We apologize for the inconvenience. During October, we are open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the evenings for our Halloween activities. Outside of our opening hours, we were undergoing preventative maintenance on our walkway for a short period of time. It is likely that you visited during this time. If you have any questions, you can reach... More

Such a great experience to go into the earth and discover what it's really like to work a day in a mine. Worth the drive! Fantastic view of surrounding area
