If your interested in, seeing where mining evolved from and the roots of Sudbury, this is definitely an interesting tour :)

You can not imagine the look on my nephew's face when he was "practice drilling" ... just like the real drilling his uncle used to do ... priceless

At first i found this place to be a little boring, however in the past year they are really stepping it up with the activities and events. Kids of all ages have a blast in the indoor playground. This is also a great place for special events such as pumpkinferno etc. Lots of parking as well.

Both adults and kids will have a 'blast' - figuratively and literally! The mine offers safe, fun and informative historical tours. It's hands-on and has some modern surprises. By the end of the hour-long visit you will have made some good friends. We certainly did.

Had to stop by when I went to the recent coin/stamp show. I was able to snap some fresh pics of the "Big Nickel" for my album! Great place to bring the kids!

This place is amazing and very interesting. This is actually my second time coming here. But this time round it does seem bigger then it did when I was last here. Going down into the mine was interesting when you got down to the bottom of the mine. You received a hard hat and jacket, our tour guide was great.... More

Good attraction, but very expensive. Staff could be a bit more helpful. Make sure you give yourself lots of time, there is lots to see, but it needs scheduling

While my daughter and 2 grandchildren, my grandson whose 8 and my granddaughter whose 5 were visiting from Guelph, Ontario, we went to see the Big Nickel and Dynamic Earth. The kids and adults both loved the underground part of the experience best. The grand kids both volunteered to light the dynamite, which was really fun. The upstairs exhibits are... More
