Interesting exhibits in the visitors center at the campground. Knowledgeable park staff are helpful in suggesting appropriate trails based on skill level and interest. The Sea Lion trail was great-there is a beach of perfect skipping stones. Definitely drive out to the Thunder Bay overlook.

About 30-minutes east of Thunder Bay Sleeping Giant Provincial Park is for sure a nice place to enjoy nature and views of Lake Superior. The park is second-growth forest of aspen, birch, cottonwood, red pine, white pine and native shrubs. We spent the day traveling...More

Nice walk with the kids on a summer's day or in fall time. Beautiful natural scenery for our area. Would be better viewed from water.

My favourite trail is Middlebrun. It is about 45 minutes each way. And u may want to swim or picnic at the sandy beach once you get there.
