About
When in Toronto, take some time to experience all that this great city has to offer. Let the great guides at Buzz Tours show you show you around the city, on one of our many 2-3 hour guided tours. Our walking tours are limited to a maximum of 8 guests per tour, so that we engage in conversation with our guests rather than have them following a flag and 100 other people through the city streets. We will show you the sights and tell you the many stories that make Toronto one of the world's great cities. Our guests generally comment that a Buzz Tour is like a city walk with a friend. If group tours are not your thing, that's not a problem. Try one of our Private Walking Tours. Select a tour that we offer and make it your own (and include 7 of your guests if you'd like). Whatever tour or type of tour you choose, we are certain, you will enjoy your time seeing the city.

We have lived in the Toronto area for 40 years and we learned so much about the city that we did not know. Dave was so informative, friendly and accommodating which made the tour experience so great. We highly recommend this tour to locals and visitors. Thanks so much Dave!!!

Fantastic introduction to Toronto with a friendly guide. Well paced walking tour.
Dave knows the city well and the tour covers a range of topics- old, new, sports, theatre, food as well as facts and figures about the area.
The tour was really cool. It also covered sculptures and architecture.
(If I could I would give him 5.9 stars)
Thumbs up from me!👍 (Ed, 9)

Perfect blend of history and human interest stories to keep history and non-history buffs happy. Small size contributed to a great tour as well. We planned the following day thanks to Dave. Highly recommend!

Great trip round Toronto in lovely weather. Thanks for all the information and fun. Dave was so knowledgable about the city and we covered many of the places I wanted to know more about. Very manageable size of group who were not too rowdy!!

My boyfriend and I visited Toronto to watch UFC and wanted a tour that would help us navigate the city at the start of our trip. We met Dave on a chilly Friday morning and absolutely loved our walking tour. For a start, we had no idea there was an underground path system in Toronto! No clue. We would have frozen trying to explore if Dave hadn’t have explained how it worked and where to enter the pathways. He was knowledgeable and friendly; we learned a lot and covered a considerable amount of ground. If you attend in the winter don’t worry as there are a lot of indoor parts to the walk. We loved it and would recommend to anyone who’s just arrived in the city and want to learn how to get around or if you just want to find out the interesting history of Toronto. Dave couldn’t be more accommodating and we were so pleased we did it. Definitely choose this tour if you’re thinking about it.

I had a tour with Dave on a chilly Friday morning of November 23rd. Even though I was 8 minutes late, it took just a phone call listed on my confirmation sheet to resolve my concern. Dave picked up and assured me he will wait. To say that the tour was great would not be enough. It was absolutely fantastic! I am pretty well-traveled person and normally book walking 2-3 hour tours in every big city I visit, so I am not impressed easily, as prefer to concentrate not on popular gossips, but rather on what the guide makes me think of. Having said that, Dave is the best example of how your not preferred subjects of discussion could be presented in such a way to make you completely forget, that you are not a sports fan, have not planned any theater performances for the trip, not a foodie and was not planning any Christmas shopping while visiting Toronto. Not only did he cover all the historic aspects as only the historian would have managed, but also made us a privy to the most juicy political maneuvering, as well as the most current problems Torontians go through to buy a house, etc.
Whereas in Europe one can easily get to historic center of the city and explore on his/her own or get a free guide, it's not the case in Canada. My appreciation of the city would not be of the same scale without Dave's insights into the history of creation of underground city connecting walkways to major offices located at the downtown skyscrapers, train station museum, baseball stadium and so many more places not to be missed. Dave's tour is a treat, a chance not to be missed, especially if you are a first time visitor of Toronto.

Booked this tour via Airbnb for our second day in Toronto. Dave shared an abundance of knowledge from history to current facts. The walking tour allowed us to better understand the area and how to navigate through the streets and PATH. Felt like a local after the tour as we were able to navigate through Toronto with ease afterwards. Really enjoyed the tour and the interactive incorporated. I’ll definitely recommend this tour.

It was cold and rainy and windy but that did not deter Dave one bit. We had a small tour group and he made sure that we were all okay with the walking and the weather. He started with the history of Toronto and then told us about Toronto today. We saw cultural sites and business sites. We went into the PATH system which was fascinating. He told us interesting facts, as well as some pop culture. It was a great way to get oriented. Lots of walking which we love. I highly recommend it

I did three tours while in Toronto...
Dave's Show me the City Walking tour, The Harbour Boat Tour, and the Distillery District walking tour. HAND'S DOWN .... Dave's tour was the BEST! First there is his communication before the tour. We were traveling from out of town and he helped us locate parking ahead of time. Then there was the tour itself. I walked my legs off,but learned so much. We went to the popular places like St Lawerence Market and the Sky Dome, but we also went to off the beaten path to see things that only an insider like Dave would know. Add to that, Dave brought a backpack full of pictures that showed how the city has changed over time.

We had never been to Toronto before Dave's tour. The next day, we came back into the downtown area and were able to navigate thanks to Dave pointing out so many landmarks.

THIS IS A WALKING TOUR.... IF WALKING isn't your thing, then I suggest taking the Habour Boat Tour. That tour repeated some of the things that Dave went over, but Dave's tour covers so much more....

Dave provided great information. I thoroughly enjoyed walking with Dave and the three other visitors who were participating in the tour. Dave shared good, detailed information on the history of Toronto and reasons it has shaped into the city that it is now. Valuable tour!
