Ok so I'm not a beer drinker and just tagged along with my husband. But after the first sip (polite gesture), I was hooked. It is really a good, light, crisp refreshing pilsner beer. Our tour guide Ariel (?) Was great. We tried some unfiltered beer as well, which had more of a smooth velvety flavor to it.

The steam whistle brewery has a nice history and is told well on the short tour. The beer is great and like they say they do one thing really well! Also had a cheese pretzel which was lovely

We were in Toronto for spring break and came upon the brewery. It's in a great location if you are visiting the CN Tower, the aquarium or a Blue Jays game. Friendly staff and a great refreshing beer.

This was one of my favourite spots I visited when in Toronto. The beer tastes great and it is a relaxed atmosphere, but also the staff all have a fantastic sense of humour and clearly are passionate about their work. Highly recommend.

Our guide (tallest guy in the room with a hat) was fantastic. The only thing I wished was that I was there earlier in the day to see the beer being bottled and cased.

Nice place to go grab some Steam Whistle beers along with a hot pretzel, hoy noisy but not quise, just the right "ambiance". Very easy to to get there, the surroundings recall for old industrial Toronto.

Brewery built into an old railroad roundhouse. They only make pilsner beer so if you want to drink a darker beer this will just be a neat place to check out. Across the street from CN tower.

Well worth a visit while in Toronto Right next to the CN Tower. If you want to do the brewery tour book on line before you go. We didn't do couldn't do it, but the food was ok for a cheap lunch and free beer samples too ( as many as you want in 1/3 pint glasses. All free too

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
