My son was here in the summer and had done the tour. Said it was worth it but they had run out of tshirts. Asked me if I would go as it is 350 meters from my hotel. I went in and ended up having a couple of pints. Pretty cool spot and the beer was good as well. Would... More

A friend from England was visiting, so we came to Toronto for the day. She wanted to see the CN Tower, so we stopped into Steam Whistle for a tour. The tour was very informative, but not at all dry. I hate tours & actually found this one interesting & it was only 30 minutes. For $10 you get quite... More

Great atmosphere, hilarious tourguide and an ice cold beet. The tour is interactive: you can taste the ingredients for the beer, you walk around the brewery and you get a beer right off the conveyer belt. Fun to do!

PRE-booked our tour to ensure a spot. Lovely venue in the old Toronto Roundhouse near the CN tower, including a large room that can be booked for private functions. Our tour guide was friendly, fun and very informative as we toured the brewery. Actual tour was only about 25 min. followed by sampling of the beer. There are several tour... More

Nothing aboce average. Pass by only because I've been to the railway museum. Had a beer, my wife a coke... Nothing out of the ordinary

The tour of the facility is wonderful. It's interesting how beer is made and I loved the story of how it all started. Plus at the end of the tour you actually get free beer.

My nephew got married there in August 2016, the ceremony and reception were there, and they could not have been more accommodating. The venue was perfect and of course the views from patio were spectacular. We even did a guided tour of the brewery while the room was being trnsformed.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
