We specifically visited Toronto to see the falls and chose this tour company because of all the great reviews we'd seen. We definitely enjoyed the day at the falls. Our tour guide was Mel and made the hour and a half bus ride there easier with his many facts about the natural wonder. It was raining very heavily all day,... More

Our tour guide Mel was fantastic, he was full of information and was very engaging. We first got to stop and take photos of the falls, while the others on the tour rode the Skylon tower (we were just not interested in partaking in this part), then we moved on to our Maid of the Mist portion, which was amazing... Great day out touring the Niagara region. Easy pick up at the Hard Rock Cafe at Dundas Square, though there seemed to be several tours running that day (it was labour day weekend) so there was a bit of faffing with some of the passengers as our bus was full. But we soon set off for Niagara with our driver... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
