The water is polluted. Dead fish sometimes wash up on shore. I cringe when I see people swim there. Definitely reserved for those with no passports.

What can you say about one of the biggest freshwater lakes in the world that touches on huge cities like Toronto and idylic locations like Prince Edward County? Watch the ships or the ducks or just the waves.

We went there just before the fall go into full swing and the views of the lake and the distant outline of Toronto were spectacular. There is a lakeside walk which leads to several local restaurants. The air was so clean you couldn't taste it!!...More

I just sailed on this lake this morning in my Sunflower-rigged Super Snark. I am sure I hit 25 knots. No one was there, as all the expensive boats were still moored 10 ft above the water, a safety precaution against night time ice.
