Toronto's Riverdale Farm covers 7.5 scenic acres and is a hot spot for families. Along with the wooded areas, ponds and gardens, there are plenty of farm animals to visit. All this and more in the heart of downtown Toronto.

My wife and i went to the Riverdale Farm because i hadn't been since i was a kid. The farm is a great place to bring young children so they can experience a farm right in the middle of the city.

Riverdale Farm is a hidden gem in the city of Toronto. A fun place to take an afternoon walk with the family or with your significant other. You can see the animals that you will typically see on a working farm and walk to through...More

Not too many animals. Somewhat boring. The animal farms in Europe are so much better. Really disappointed.

Who knew there was such a rustic farm in the middle of Toronto? Great little spot to spend an hour with young kids. Nice that they've maintained the rustic feel of it. It's beautiful in the Spring with the cherry blossoms and lilacs. We really...More

While driving through the streets of lovely Victorian homes in Cabbagetown, we unexpectedly found ourselves in the idyllic greenspace which is Riverdale Farm. What a lovely respite to wander through beautiful old barns and view farm animals and life as it was long ago. We...More

A farm in the middle of this huge city? Indeed, and sweet for little ones. Little lambs, noisy moms guarding them, horses, cows and some fowl. A longer walk around the adjacent cemetery is easy and possible if desired. Good ice cream nearby too. Thank...More

Taken my kids and other kids for years for the animals and the crafts. Worth a visit and have a quick coffee and snack while there. Staff friendly and petting area great.

Its a warm winter season but should the snow return the area surrounding Riverdale Farm is one of the best Toboggan Runs in all Toronto. A great place to take small kids on a winters day looking at ducks while you sip hot chocolate.

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip

Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to

It's a farm, not a petting zoo, but in some cases it's possible.
