Fun escape into history. Village is really great with petting area for the kids. Some shops/houses have dressed "pioneers" like the blacksmith or printing press with demonstrations that were very insightful. The day we went it was not crowded and you could really get the...More

I visited Black Creek Pioneer Village during my trip from Australia. The grounds and buildings are great and well maintained but the museum experience overall was somewhat disappointing. Some of the buildings were closed and there were very few buildings that had working artisans. How...More

With the exception of a few high rises poking up above the trees, going to Black Creek Pioneer Village is like escaping back to a simpler time. My wife and I were impressed by the number of historical actors and the various exhibits in the...More

Similiar to „upper canada village“ this is a supermade historical place. The people here who „play“ their role in the town make a great job and give out a lot and interesting information. The kods relly love it and its worth a full day stay.
