A great place to visit with children. A good number of restored buildings, excellent interpreters, animals that kids can interact with.............plus a real brewery for dad! Avoid school holidays or morning during the week as there are quite a few school groups..........would suggest calling ahead to verify. Entrance fee is expensive plus parking but on par with most attractions.

We loved this attraction from the time we entered. My three little girls really enjoyed seeing things from near past. Beautiful place for a day outing.

The Pioneer Village is a fun place; there's quite a few buildings to go through, lots of farm animals to see, and the interpreters are very good at presenting the historical information in an interesting way. It's a good place for kids, or for hobby photographers. There's a little restaurant with pretty good food, and they brew their own beer... More

We enjoy going at least once a year. They often have special events and the kids enjoy walking through the village and enjoy seeing the homes with the antique items and old clothing.

The experience to dive into the time of the pioneers of canada was great. Then the staff, who dressed according to the time and occupation was amazing specially with the knowledge thy had and passed to the visitors.

We had a great time here during the Halloween period. Our daughter loved the creepy crawly talk. The trick or treat and decorate your own pumpkin was fab too. Amazing value and great to learn some Canadian history!! A must see!!

A history buffs dream come true. With 5 original buildings on site and others being relocated to this area there is a lot of early Canadian history packed into a small area. When you first walk into the village you are greeted by the original barn on this site that was built in 1825 - amazing. Make sure to take... More

What a great and spooky ghost tour in an amazing setting! Fantastic stories told by wonderful guide, Margo, who's Victorian widow's weeds definitely added to the creepy factor. I have been on many ghost tours and this was one of my favourites! I am definitely coming back during the day to explore the village. I hope you keep up the... More

I came with a friend as part of the Haunted Walk Experience, and we liked it so much that we're planning to come back during the daytime, when I learned there will be costumed interpreters! It's a beautiful spot and the buildings are fitted-out with historically-accurate furniture, etc. Very cool.

This is such a great collaboration between Black Creek Pioneer Village and Haunted Walk. We had Rogue as our guide. She did a fantastic job of telling us all the stories of the different buildings we went to and seemed to very much enjoy guiding the tour. Would definitely come back again!! We even had a couple of odd (perhaps... More
