I took the one hour walking tour of the Distillery District last weekend. Our tour guide was Josh Jones - he was great! Very knowledgeable! I went with a friend, who recently moved back to the Toronto area from the US. It ended up being just the 2 of us on the tour, which was fabulous! We learned a lot... More

They do a quick training session so you feel comfortable on the Segway and then the tour takes you all around the distillery district. Mike Legere was our tour guide he was charismatic and knowledgeable. I learned a lot of interesting facts that I don't think would be available anywhere else!

I was a little reluctant to book one of these tours because I thought the Segway would be difficult to learn, and that the guide wouldn't be fun for my Cousin and her friend who were here from Spain to visit. I decided to go ahead with it anyway because the Distillery District is such a beautiful part of Toronto... More

It's pretty easy after the first couple minutes, isn't it? We're so glad your family had a great time and we've passed on the review to your guide Sergi. Thanks for joining us and we hope to see you again. More

This was a great way to check out the area and be educated about the history. Very easy to drive. Our guide was Eric and he was great to talk to and well informed.

Our twin daughters had been wanting to visit Toronto for ages, so for their 17th birthday, we booked a weekend trip there. A Segway tour had been high on their bucket list, so when my husband saw this company, he thought a tour would be the perfect addition to their birthday weekend. We were amazed at how quick and easy... More

I've lived in the GTA most of my life and knew nothing about the Distillery District. Eric interacted well with the group and his knowledge about the area made this a very interesting.tour.

Had a great time on the 7pm Segway ghost tour. Very personal service as we were the only 2 guests. Really informative but a little repetitive in terms of going round in circles as restricted where Segway can operate

Hi Cazianclark, We agree that the area can be restrictive for some riders and we're currently petitioning the Ontario government to allow us the ability to operate in non-private property areas. We also have our off-road tours at Horseshoe Resort and Hardwood from May-October every year and involve a lot more roaming through the countryside. Thanks for your feedback, it's... More

This was part of our anniversary trip. It was windy & raining, but Sergi & Katie made it really fun & entertaining. We had a great time. The distillery was beautiful. As part of the tour you get a beer tastes, but we don't drink. They were very accomading and gave us root beer instead. It tasted great. After the... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
