My wife and I did both the downtown tour & the island tour yesterday. We both thought that it was an amazing way to see the city and to learn about it from friendly and informative folks. Both of our guides were really great. If anybody asks me what they should do in Toronto-I'd tell them to take this tour!!

Went on the island tour with Rob last Friday - bikes were comfortable, Rob was nice and had lots of fun facts and information - he taught us about Canada and we shared some Texas information with him. I would highly recommend taking a bike tour and would do it again if we ever get back to Toronto!

We visited Toronto Bike Tours on our first trip to Toronto and we met Will and one other lady on the tour. Will was immediately welcoming and helpful. We set off on an easy ride down to the ferry where Will gave us a brief history of the city and the Toronto Islands. We love the fact that Will took... More

This was a terrific overview of the downtown highlights including the distillery area. I learned so much! Our guide Jane was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very attentive to client safety. The cycling was not overly challenging but was a great way to cover a lot if terrain in the time allotted. Definitely a highlight of my trip to Toronto!!

My husband and I just did a 31/2 hour city bike tour with this company. Zoe was informative, attentive and a great guide. Biking was easy with frequent stops. Great way to get oriented in the city. Would definitely recommend to even fairly novice bikers.

Jeffrey and Genny were amazing guides! They took us around an easy ride through Toronto hitting the major hot spots there. I was a little nervous about biking in traffic, but they're very cautious and made everything safe for us. They pointed out great places to eat and hangout, and dropped some knowledge. Try to make this one of the... More

I will begin by giving a shout out to Will, Rob and Jackie, the guides who expertly led us through the urban jungle of downtown Toronto to get to our ferry. We booked the trip in celebration of a college graduation, and it's not something our family would normally do on vacation. However, we took a chance and we are... More

We had a small group, great and informative guide and definitely saw Toronto in a very different light. Would love to do the Island tour next time there. Definitely worth it. Only thing missing was stopping for a quick coffee along the way.

Thank Lourene R

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
