About
Pandemic update. My St Lawrence Market/Old Town Toronto tours are $20 per person. Tours will be limited to 10 people and will run every Tues, Weds and Thursdays, Friday and Saturday. There will be an extra charge for my private tours. All tours will be in keeping with the latest Ontario Gov Covid-19 guidelines. Bruce Bell Tours: So much of Toronto's history is either buried under parking lots or confined to dusty history books hidden on the top shelves of libraries or just plain forgotten. Using his wealth of knowledge and experience well known historian and author Bruce Bell is determined to look under those parking lots to see what secrets are held in Toronto's much overlooked colonial and 19th century past. Bruce also does a great food tasting tour at Toronto’s famed St Lawrence Market.

We are locals interested in our hood "Old Toronto" ... Bruce took us on a two hour historical walkabout. I've done tours all over the world and honestly this was the best! Don't miss it if you are visiting Toronto! Bruce is personable, funny, engaging AND a walking encyclopedia about Toronto. Thanks Bruce!

My husband and I missed
the Saturday tour due to a plane delay but Bruce was able to fit a private tour into his schedule which we were so appreciative of. Walking tours are always our favorite way to learn about the city and this tour was one of our favorites! Bruce is so knowledgeable about the city’s history and current events, it was a pleasure to chat with him and learn about Toronto and Canadian history and culture. He also is so helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do during your trip. Thank you Bruce!

A great walking tour experience of the St. Lawrence Market and surrounding area. Bruce is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area and of Toronto, but he doesn't overload you with too much extraneous information. If you really want to understand the city and its history this is a fun way to do it with an engaging and personable guide who knows his stuff. We learned a lot and had a great time exploring with Bruce.

Incredible tour guide, extremely knowledgeable and really fun. We came on a day the market was sadly closed but we were aware of that and it was still one of the best tours I’ve ever done. Accommodated our group member with a broken toe and great conversation between stops, with plenty of great stops.

Bruce Bell is legendary and knows literally everything... like I mean everything. He's a great Tour Guide, the content is very engaging and the tour is well worth the 60-90 minutes. We did the St. Lawrence Market Tour, and it was great being able to see a lot of Bruce's projects out in the public!

Would recommend to anyone that is visiting Toronto or is interested in learning more about their neighbourhood.

We so enjoyed the tour of Old Town Toronto with Bruce! He is personable, knowledgable and entertaining. We toured the St. Lawrence Market and surrounding area. We learned a lot that we wouldn't have on our own. Bruce also gave us some tips on what else to do in the area. So glad the Canadian border opened so we could come up from the U.S. and take this fabulous tour! Thanks Bruce! Angela and Alan
