Exploring Toronto's Foodie Scene

I had a great time checking out the restaurants while learning more about the history of Toronto. I appreciated how each stop highlighted a different cuisine showcasing Toronto's multiculturalism. We saw some hidden gems that were local hangouts, and learned more about each dish which was quite special. The leisurely walk between our food stops was enjoyable because our tour guide, Damian, did a fantastic job keeping us engaged and answering our questions. The tour was well organized with smooth communication with the tour guide and an easy to find start and drop off location. We were stuffed by the time we got to the final restaurant so I think there is good value for money for the quality and quantity of the food provided. I'd suggest wearing comfortable shoes to walk in. Overall, I'd recommend it for those looking for a fun activity that involves delicious eats, learning fun facts and exploring Toronto's famous sites.

Great mix of food, sightseeing and history

I had been on another excellent tour with this company before, and this one did not disappoint! It was a very interesting variety of food, some street food, some sit-down restaurants, and our guide did a fabulous job of entertaining us with stories about the city and the food! I also loved that we covered so much ground on the tour, which I find less common on food tours as they mostly focus on one neighbourhood. We got to see lots of sights and walk off some calories! Perfect activity for a sunny day in Toronto.

Best way to explore Toronto downtown - with good food!

My family and I really enjoyed the food tour of Toronto's downtown led by Damian. We got to see some iconic sights of the city and try some delicious and some interesting flavors of food from different corners of the world. It was a great way to spend the weekend locally!

This was a team building event for our department and everyone had a fantastic time. Ordile, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the food was great.

There were 6 of us on sunday (labor day weekend). We had a great time. Our guide was so informative and really enjoyed the sights and food.

Historic food tour of Kensington Market

A well organized tour with plenty of stops to enjoy some of the local foods with an emphasis on the history of Kensington Market. Our guide was a long time resident and business owner who was able to give us a good picture of the development and foods of the area. Well worth the money and time.

Don’t skip the Kensington food tour
Our host for the tour, Odile, was amazing. She shared the history of Kensington Market and introduced us to many amazing vendors in the market.

The food was also amazing…we had food from around the world.

I appreciate Odile for all of her knowledge and the great experience she created for us on the tour.

Tasty Food Tour at Kensington Market, Toronto, Canada

This is a wonderful food tour! Kensington Mkt is actually a neighborhood of multi-cultural storefronts and eateries. It was just the two of us with Damian and it felt like we were all good friends meeting there to explore together.. The locations were his favorites and different from other Kensington Mkt tour itineraries that I researched. That made it so personal. He explained the history and origins of where we were and how the different foods came about. Everything was absolutely authentic and delicious and worth going off the diet to enjoy. We had Jewish Borekas, Jamaican Meat Patties, Egyptian Falafel, Canadian Poutine, and Mexican Churros. We have enjoyed food tours in Europe and this ranks right up there, thank you Damian for such an enjoyable experience. :-)
