Good value for live entertainment and dinner

I would highly recommend this place to young and old alike, we had an awesome time going here. The price was great, the food was great and the entertainment was as well. They sell all kinds of stuff inside the foyer and it is great, there is a bar as well for alcohol and non alcohol drinks as well. The... More

I was a bit reluctant to go-- figured it would be kitschy and have bad food-- but I learnt my lesson. We all had a fabulous time. The show is great-- skillful, beautiful, entertaining, dramatic-- and it's easy to get drawn into the theatricality of it. Most people really cheer for their knights and get invested in the results of... More

This is a great place to go especially as a family. I so enjoyed it here. Funny, when it first opened in Toronto I thought it would only last a few years but it has been here a long time now. Recently I went for the first time and could see why - it is great. Characters were excellent, the... More

This was my first visit and I took my 9 year old son with me. I found Medieval Times to be good value for the money and I will return again, this time with both my wife and son. We upgraded to the Royalty ticket and it was well worth it. We skipped all the line ups and were seated... More

Had an enjoyable evening at Medieval Times. The horses are beautiful! The knights put on a fun show and work hard to keep the audience involved, cheering madly for "their" knight. Dinner was plentiful- half a roasted chicken, potato, corn on the cob and butter tart for dessert.

My husband and I came here for our birthdays. It's free for the birthday person but only with purchase of one full-priced admission so we brought friends and split the difference! I've never been to Medieval Times and honestly, it was pretty awesome. The falconry, the horses, the knights with their flowy hair, the jousting... it was all really well-done!... More

First off, I am a huge fan of the movie "The Cable Guy". Without seeing that incredibly underrated movie, I never would have thought to come here. Anyone can go out to dinner, but how often to you get to go out to dinner while watching falconry, jousting and knights fighting for glory? There just aren't many experiences like this,... More

THE GOOD; Food and jousting what more can one ask for? And it was very good! THE BAD; They seat people way too close together. I could feel the guy next to me and his nose hairs were touching my forearm while eating my chicken...to close! THE UGLY: Have to eat with your hands. Wasn't ugly for me, but watch... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
