The tickets were bought at a discounted price (look around for a discount) and we upgraded to the birthday package. This resulted in us being in the first row, which is really where you want to be. Food is OK and cake was definitely not needed. Plus, because we were sitting in a row instead of a full table, we... More

First off if you are not VIP, there is a difference as soon as you walk in the door, they do they make you feel like a pauper for not getting the VIP package, especially if you have kids, from the souvenirs to the place where you sit to the flags you wave.. I would suggest if you are taking... More

My boyfriend and I visited on a Sunday afternoon and loved the experience! The building is huge and had a lot to see and do before the show (bar, gift shops etc) so make sure you get there early. The staff were wonderful, staying in character the whole time (costumes, calling us 'lord and lady') and being very attentive. The... More

We originally were supposed to come before Christmas and had planned it as a company staff dinner, the weather was poor and we could not make it. Thank you for being so accommodating and letting us re book our dinner, everyone had a great time. I would like to take a moment and comment on our server, we came on... More

Great experience! We were amazed by the entire show. Food was OK but is that why you are really there? Servers were great, even they got into the entertainment, big shout out to Emma here. Not only was she friendly but she worked so hard to make sure we enjoyed herself, can't say thank you enough. Blue Knight (we visited... More

For my birthday, I treated my parents (seniors), siblings, partner and 3 kids (ages 2, 4, and 6) to Medieval Times Toronto. 9 people total (the 2 year old was free if she sat on a lap). I ordered the tickets a few months ago during their Cyber Monday sale. We went an hour earlier (the doors open 75 min... More

Let me start by saying that our server David (from table green 13) was top notch. Polite, courteous and helpful. Food was a bit bland and of average quality but we had no complaints. The show was also great. Kudos to the actors. My only real criticism of Medieval Times would be the process for entering the venue. One would... More

My friend mentioned this place, I was super skeptic because 45 dollars (with coupon) for a dinner and show is pretty cheap these days so I wasn't expecting much. There's a bit of the (typical) souvenir trap at the beginning but the show itself was absolutely fantastic and our knight (yellow) was super into it. He threw us flowers, we... More

This was a first time visit for our family, we were celebrating ours sons 11th, and 14'th birthdays. We arrived 70 minutes prior to the show, and the line-up was out the door, so I recommend to people to arrive even earlier that suggested in the winter time to avoid standing out in the cold. Once the doors opened it... More

Medieval Times is a complete money grab. When I went 15 years ago, one could buy tickets and just go. Now they want to upgrade for 12, 18 or 22 dollars a person. Prices of drinks and souvenirs are astronomical. BUT my kids LOVED the show and the meal and were totally entertained by the whole thing. My favourite part... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
