Great fun for young children!

My family and I went on a Saturday for the 4:30 p.m show and enjoyed the entire experience. The venue was great, the characters/actors were all terrific and the show in the arena was super. I wasn't really sure what to expect but the quality of the show was well worth the money and the acting and beautiful horses was... More

Whilst I enjoyed the show, it is more geared to younger children. It was good fun, but a little dramatic for an older audience. The showmanship of the horses was amazing. The meal was surprisingly good; the vegetable tomato soup was hot, a huge portion of juicy chicken, a tasty baked potato and a cob of corn that tasted like... More

The down side to this event was the meal. The tomato soup was excellent but not enough of it. The roast chicken was the greasiest I have ever had. Beyond the grease it was dry. The potato had little taste and was also dry. The corn came on a 2 inch section of cob and was quite mushy. The coffee... More

Last minute planning led to no formal birthday- so glad I thought of this last minute, was so fun, my 7 year old twins were not disappointed! If you sign up to their birthday list, birthday kid is free with full adult fee- still expensive when you calculate a whole family, but you definitely get value for your money, and... More

It was my first time going to Medieval Times and it was awesome even though our knight lost! The parking for $12 per car seemed a bit pricey and I thought once your inside after the tickets have been checked it could be organized a bit better. You have almost an hour and a half wait before your allowed to... More

The tickets were bought at a discounted price (look around for a discount) and we upgraded to the birthday package. This resulted in us being in the first row, which is really where you want to be. Food is OK and cake was definitely not needed. Plus, because we were sitting in a row instead of a full table, we... More

First off if you are not VIP, there is a difference as soon as you walk in the door, they do they make you feel like a pauper for not getting the VIP package, especially if you have kids, from the souvenirs to the place where you sit to the flags you wave.. I would suggest if you are taking... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
