Worst Customer Service
Mar. 2021 • Solo
Does it suck? The answer is yes. The worst customer service I have ever received. I wouldn’t waist your time going here.

Great fun!
Feb. 2017 • Family
Very friendly and professional staff. Equipment did not disappoint. Look for half price deals a few weeknight evenings and all holiday Mondays. The commando package is a very good deal. I would say their own specials even beat groupon deals so do the math before you book. The "paint" washes out easily. The entrance is a bit hard to find - you pass it on a "dip" on the drive along the building - parking is behind the building so you walk back to the small door with the sign on top.

Bare minimum investment
Nov. 2016 • Family
The premises are in a very basic shape-the washrooms are dilapidated and I can't recall seeing anything like it in Canada; walls are not fully painted; there's nowhere for the parents to sit.

There are strict policies on using paintballs from other places, although they are standard size and those other places encouraged clients to take them home and bring them back another time. The price is on the high side ($42 for 100 paintballs, including protective suit, but not vest).

Finally, the kids found the main court subpar in design.

Over priced and very small and sandy.
Jul. 2016 • Friends
This place has a really small area, also there is alot of sand. The whole battle ground is covered with sand. I've been to other indoor paintball places and they didn't need to use sand. Im not sure what the sand is for.

Our group of 10 ended up spending about 800$ which i think is a bit over priced. If you go be prepared to buy more paintballs.

Great Groupon Deal
Jun. 2016
We had a bunch of friends go for a birthday party. We had a decent time for around 15 of us.

There was a great deal through Groupon for the rental of the equipment. 30$* for 4 people for 4 hours: gun, mask, 100 balls per person. I was able to go through 2 rounds with 100 balls (though I was probably a conservative shot).

When it comes down to it you will likely need to buy more balls which can get expensive. Good to split between a group.

Gloves and jump suit are about 5$ each (you'd get to keep the gloves...). I recommend to just bring a change of clothes and your own gloves.

*If you are new to Groupon you can get 10$ off
*You will also have to pay the tax upon arrival

Fun for kids
Feb. 2016 • Family
We had a bday party with a bunch of 12-year-olds - they all had fun - despite a few welts here and there.

Note to parents who consider having a bday party there:
1. Bring a case of water - when I booked my party it included 2 pizzas - but didn't mention drinks weren't included - so I had no choice but to buy overpriced water at $2 per bottle.
2. Our party room was available to us from 6pm-7pm - but it was vacant all day and would be convenient if was made available to us for coats/seating - as main area is crowded.
3. Bring or request in advance extra paper plates/ plastic utensils - or you will end up asking staff for every item during your party;
4. Ensure you purchase the right birthday package - if that's possible - and here's why - Defcon offers 100 paintballs/ per person for the entire duration - however when you're already there they tell you it will hardly last 15 minutes - so what choice do you have but buy extra ammunition, which is expensive at $125 for 1000.

All in all - great experience - I'd only suggest that Defcon improves its advertised birthday party packages - as they lack proper arrangements.

Staff was very helpful - thank you!

Great time with friends
Dec. 2015 • Friends
I'm surprised about the negative reviews here. We went as a party of 9, including three 10 yr olds and the experience was great. The staff were friendly and well informed. Went through proper training and played about 2 hours straight. The arena is bright enough and plenty of covers to hide in. I do, however, agree that the refs should be enforcing the rules closely during the matches. I got shot at couple of times within 5 feet as well as getting tattooed multiple times despite raising my hands.

Other than that, had a ball and will come back again.

Bad bad bad!!u have been warned
Bad staff, overpriced, no one knew anything about prices and kept guessing and asking for money money. Only one referee for a full field. Referee was hiding behind a pole all the time and was texting on his phone mostly while ppl were screaming and getting hurt. Pure negligence!!!
Everything was an extra and attitude was so bad by the staff. These guys will not be around for too long.

An absolutely pathetic excuse for a paintballing facility
Oct. 2014 • Friends
When they have deals, the prices are reasonable. They usually don't have deals though, so the prices tend to be ridiculous.

During our (myself and seven other friends) match, I tagged numerous people on the other team. However, dishonesty is rampant here, as is the case in many games of paintball. That's what the refs are for though, right? Wrong. The referees here are complete idiots. I tagged one guy six times, right in front of the ref, before I had to yell at the ref to get him out of the game for cheating. One time I was tagged, and I raised my arms to signal that I was out. I turned my back to go back to my side of the field, and was hit like 10 more times in the back. I looked at the ref, who would not say anything, as I was still being tagged while my hands were up. I had to walk over to the other team, and explain that you should not shoot somebody with their hands up, because this means they are out. This is common knowledge. An opposing team of incompetents and an idiotic ref do not make for a good experience.

The arena was absolutely pitch black and grimy. It didn't feel like a paintball arena; it felt like quicksand. My friends and I could not see for the life of us.

Find some place better, do not waste your money here.
